Ted's have pulled a lot of listings since this morning. Also noticed Digidirect decreased the quantities on some items so they would end early. What a load of ****. eBay deals should really be banned on Ozbargain unless its a sitewide code.

      scam!!scam!!scam!!
I added the DJI Mavic to my cart, a minute before 4pm then suddenly when the clocked ticked over they were out of stock?!

      • -1

Oh no. You got scammed? How much did you lose?

        • +1

my sanity, now I'm going to go home crying to my cat.

        • @gavintan: You do that. Right meow.

    • Well it's better they remove items they don't want to discount than pricejack them dishonestly.

    OLED55E7T
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-55-OLED55E7T-E7-OLED-Smart-TV-…
    $4,988.00 less 20% = $3,990.40 + $55 delivery = $4,045.40

Seems like a very solid deal to me.

Is E7 much better than C7? Because C7 is $2995, over $1000 cheaper.

      • It is much better for my needs, yes.

  • Dell and Temple and Webster haven't jacked their prices up at this stage.

I want to buy an ergonomic mesh office chair, but getting info out of T & W is like getting blood out of a stone (it took me 30 mins to even find a contact number). So I'll go elsewhere and pay a higher price.

    • What information are you after?

      • About the Ergohuman V3 Smart Balance Mesh Office Chair:

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Milan-Direct-Office-Chairs-NEW-Er…

1 Whether the base is plastic or aluminium (it looks like plastic in the image)
2 Whether the arms can be removed (I intend to use it in my music room for playing guitar)

Apparently this is a Milan Direct model specific to T & W, so there's no info about it anywhere, including thr Ergohuman web site, which is s bit of a worry!

$383 with the 20% discount would be a very good price, but there are other chairs around at $500 or so with no Ebay discount, so I'd be happy to pay that to avoid getting something dubious.

        • Can't speak for that model, but I bought the Ergohuman V2 Plus Deluxe mesh chair from them. It's a legit Ergohuman chair, just came with Milan Direct printed on the little manual and also on the big box.

        • @Orpheus:

Thanks for that, Orpheus - I like theV2 Plus, especially for $480, but unfortunately they only have it with the headrest, which I don't want (but it's possibly removable though).

EDIT: Apparently it's not possible to remove it - so that's out!

Actually, Dell laptop which was on special that I had my eyes on suddenly had zero stock just before 4pm, and has been replaced instore with the same version but no longer on sale. There was plenty of stock prior to 4pm, so even Dell is not immune to screwing us around with these eBay specials…

      • Apologies, Danny - I never thought of that!

I checked out two cheaper models, and they were both available and in stock, so I didn't look any further.

I bought two Dells a few weeks ago in the last 20% off sale - an Inspiron 11 3000 N3710 4GB RAM 128GB SSD for $319.20 and an Inspiron 15 3000 Core i3-6006U 8GB Ram 1TB HDD for $479.20. I wanted to make sure that they weren't any cheaper this time around. They weren't - exactly the same!

    • Thanks dude. Bought one for a friend. Personally I use an Optiplex 9020 and they are great computers

    • Damn! I am salty that I missed that desktop. I am using an old Optiplex 980 and would have jumped on this in a heartbeat had I seen this early. :(

  • is there a link to search all stores?

    • +2

Yup! It's right at the bottom of the long list of stores in the deal post above. It probably should be near the top…

      • awesome thanks

  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge $496: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S7-Edge-32GB-64GB-…

Not sure about this, too cheap to be legit, but doesn't seem brand new by the sounds of it. Thoughts?

    • Definitely refurbished.

  • Got a Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro for $512 shipped not to bad :)

    • That's a good price for the specs, what's the catch?

    • +1

  • Anyone able to recommend a GPU for me.

A bit out of the PC game, my ASUS HD7870-DC2-2GD5 died on me recently and looking for a replacement. I dont really need anything powerful, as currently my gaming habbits have dropped to just dota/cs go.

    • the 460's are around $100 and should drive those games

gtx 960 is decent value for a bit more you get significantly more performance

Any good deals on Eneloop battery pack?

  • I had an item in my cart before the sale at $30.02 with free shipping. Sale came on with 20% off price (excluding shipping) and price was also reduced to $28.52 (4% off) at the same time. However they added $9.80 shipping, which means that the total comes to $32.61 or $2.59 MORE than the price before the sale. How is that legit? Are they able to say that they reduced the price by 4% so it's still a real sale?

    • A second item I wanted was $69.99 with free shipping, so should come down to $55.99 after 20% coupon. The store added $7.99 postage for the sale, so it only comes down to $63.98, for an 8.5% saving, not 20%. Different seller, same technique of lessening the discount (as shipping costs aren't included in the 20% off).

    $3799 on Lenovo site w/ $100 coupon.

  • What do people think about this? Lenovo m700 Tiny. Will be $500 with the code, but the purchase history is showing they were ~$200! Could it have been a different unit/item? The dilemma is that in a week, are they going to be $200 again, that seems ridiculously low…

    • +1

Probably with another spec but same name.

    • +1

I've purchased 10 of the M700 Tiny's over the past few weeks. They are great machines. Mind you I'm talking about the 256GB SSD 8GB RAM i5 with the 22" IPS units Futu has available. They have been great.

I have purchased around 50 M700 units over the past year… So I am always watching the prices on staticice, eBay & Lenovo etc. I've never seen them at the $200 mark though. So not sure what's going on there sorry.

However in regards to the performance and reliability of the M700. I haven't experience any problems at all.

  • Nice to see Shopping Square jack up the price of their 200GB MicroSD cards by $16.95.

EDIT: And not giving the discounted items eBay's "fast 'n free" postage.

  • Could have sworn officeworks was included in this deal

Looks like they added an extra store

  • Can someone answer this?
I saw a deal I was interested in and it showed the discount code, expiring 11 June.
When I went back a few hours later there was no discount code there.
If I buy the item can I still enter the code at checkout?
Concerned that I might buy the item then find I don't get the discount.
If you get to checkout and can't apply the code are you still obliged to buy?
Have looked several times since and no sign of the code again.
But I am 100% certain it was there.

    • Discount code wont be saved to your cart. Just put the code in when you actually come to purchase.

    • +1

Don't click 'Buy it now' instead click 'Add to cart' and then go to Checkout and enter the discount code. If the code doesn't work then don't checkout. If the seller is on the list then it should work.
