Not the cheapest it has ever been, but still not a bad price for a fairly well performing 2TB NAS.

If you need extra storage space, it has a USB3.0 port on the back as well.

  Nothing against the deal itself but the performance of the NAS is dreadful. Had a 3tb and ended up ripping the drive out, it was a WD Red which is good :) now running much better in another external enclosure.

    It might depend on what you're doing - I've already got a 4TB My Cloud and it runs fairly well as long as you're not hitting it with heaps of small files…

    It's to do with the firmware the my cloud is running, and some very poorly developed software. I know this doesn't apply to you anymore, but anyone else should check out this link for the fix: http://shortattentionspade.com/tag/speeding-up-wd-mycloud/
