Hi all!
This is a cracker of a deal for one of the most powerful versions of Galaxy S8+ out there.
Pros:
- 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory (not officially launched in Australia by Samsung, so I guess grey import is only way to experience this)
- Top of the range specs with dual SIM functionality
- Local shipping (thus no GST/import duty headache).
- B28 compatible as per Samsung

Cons:
- No Samsung 2 year warranty. 12 month warranty by Ace digital (not sure how good is their service though)

Have a very good evening!

Good Price. Are you sure it does not have B28 ( seller description says that). This model number pertains to the Chinese version and it has B28 as per this link

    • Interesting observation! I went off the item description provided. Upon checking Samsung official website it indeed has B28. Fixed the description. Cheers!!

most powerful? It is a sith?

  • So it works with Optus? This seems like a really good price :| or have I missed something?

  • Thats not bad. Was looking to get one in the next 15% sale later on. Lack of local warranty from samsung is putting me in doubt.

    Was looking at this one

    Ebay

Australian Model with Support from Samsung Australia but only single sim model and also eligible for 15% off later on but little more pricey ($1105 after discount)

Ad states only 12 month warranty - should be 24 month warranty!

      • Just checked with the seller and indeed it is 24 months warranty! Got the seller to amend the listing

128GB vs 64GB, 6GB vs 4GB RAM, Dual SIM vs Single SIM. $1079 vs $1105 on one side, and Vendor warranty vs Samsung warranty on the other side. To me, I guess it might be worth taking that risk. And a top end model should have lesser chances of factory defects (at least theoretically).

      • Do we have to pay GST as it's over $1000 and coming from overseas??

        • +1

From description - Item location: Sydney, Australia. So I guess no as it has already been imported.

        • @singhdeals: thank you Singh Saab

  • So whats the verdict. Is this worth buying? Do these places provide GST tax invoices?

  • G9550 can't root…..

    • Are you sure???

  • Experience with acedigital eBay seller?

  • I don't think that these guys will provide a GST tax invoice. Better off with Mobilecity
