  • I got all these amex offer on my David Jones & CPA amex.

  • Has anyone got a link for the Multicharity $50 Get 1500 Points offer? Cheers

  • +1

    Paging @forumninja.

  • looks like bp is only targeted to people who haven't paid at BP using amex.
I didn't get it buy my bud who never fills up at BP has it

    • looks like bp is only targeted to people who haven't paid at BP using amex.

Nope… you need to do it through your account as per : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4753936/redir

      • +4

Doing it that way, I still don't see the offer.

      • If the offer only appears in your account it means that the offer is targeted.

    • +1

I can see the offer on all my Amex cards, and I enjoyed the previous BP deal a few months ago.

    • Not true this time; I just filled up last week and paid with my AMEX at BP

    • I've never paid at BP using AMEX. Actually, I've never refueled at BP.

      Did not get the offer.

  • +1

I have Kathmandu and BP on my Amex issued card
edit - and I fill up at BP weekly

  • +1

No sign of the BP offer for my CBA card.

  • Got it on my Amex issued Amex, not on other bank issued Amex

  • Thanks OP. Love the BP deal. Cuts 25% off the price of my fuel for 6 weeks (6 amexes).

    • Are they supplementary cards on one account? If they are supplementary cards and you add the deal by logging into your Amex (vs manual link), will it work for all supplementary cards as well?

      • no you need to add for each of the supp cards.

      • Yup supplementary - 3 mine, 3 my wife's. Always worked!

  • Not seeing the BP deal on ANZ AMEX card.

Even with $10 cashback it isnt worth it to get petrol from BP, consider how much they charge/L

    • +2

My local Bp moorebank diesel is $116.9. Shell , caltex are charging $132.9. Crazy

    • BP normally are 2c/L over the supermarket petrol stations. I still think this is a deal.

    • +1

My local BP is usually cheaper than anywhere around the area, but they're a long running family business who seem to help out the community so maybe that's why.

    • Assuming you fill just $40 worth of petrol rather than the whole tank, they'd have to charge 33% more than others to be unworthy.

    • You dont bother with Velocity points? I get targeted offers from Velocity occasionally to shop at BP.

      • Velocity points is that the same as Qantas points ? If not then I dont have one

    • Just out of curiosity how do to find manual links??

      • +4

        Luck
I just changed the offer ID and added Kathmandu after it. (though didnt work for BP and dominos)

I got the offer ID by looking at the URL on the amex site for kathmandu offer

I dont know how the other folks do it … my one was pure luck i think!!

  • +2

Anybody so kind enough to provide manual link for the BP offer?

  • Tried to use my Amex last time the BP offer was available, but they told me they didn't accept Amex even though Amex lists this particular store in their app.

So FYI not all BP stations accept Amex apparently.

    • +2

That being said, some have a surcharge for AMEX and some don't.

  • +2

Topped up $40 on my Opal card at my local BP and got the e-mail saying thanks for spending at BP

    • Works great for topping up Opal at Amex Small Shop convenience stores too

  • I cant see the BP offer in my amex portal so does that mean I missed out :(

  • +1

All my 16 amexes got this offer :)

  • +3

Kathmandu has a sale on their Heli lightweight jackets for men and women for $99. Reduced from $279. Must be summit club member to get this deal.

  • Can't see BP offer. Can anyone point out where is Offers underneath my current/pending transactions

    here is my login page

Your AMEX is bank issued; it seems that it's only available for AMEX issued AMEX

    • +1

      Only amex issued card.

      • +1

I got it on my Velocity Plat, my wife didn't.

  • I have a Platinum Edge and offer is available

  • BP offer was on my Explorer at the start but wasnt on my Plat Edge an hour ago but just rechecked and it was there, so might be worthwhile rechecking Amex app every now and again for those who don't have it appearing

    • Amex app often hides offers on other cards once you've activated it on one card. By design or bug, not sure. Log out and back in and it will come back.

  • gee that was quick dominos is reached the limit not even 9hrs luckly got some bp and a wallet pay offer.

  • BP offer isnt on my bank issued amex card. Kathmandu is.

  • How to you sign up for an offer for a supplementary card? Would the same offer appear on login for supplementary card?

    • I can confirm the offer is valid and working for sup cards of AMEX issued cards

  • can anyone post a direct link to the BP offer?

    • There isnt a link it pops up within an existing window when logging into the american express site https://www.americanexpress.com/australia/ I believe it only appears for AMEX issued cards, I have both AMEX and bank issued variants and it is not showing under https://network.americanexpress.com/connect/au/en/default.ht… for my bank issued card.

      • I have 2 x Amex issued amex (gold and platinum edge), 1 x Bank issued, I don’t see the BP offer on any of them.

        • Are you logging in via the true American express site (vs the AMEX connect site?)

        • @jason101:

Yes I am, although think it’s targeted at first BP amex users as someone else mentioned in this thread. I had it on all 3 of my Amexs last time. It was up to 2 times for each card as well, so I had $60 worth in credit.

        • @avexdevil: I got it last time on 4 cards and spent at bp on them, and again this time.

        • @avexdevil:

although think it’s targeted at first BP amex users as someone else mentioned in this thread.

I got it last time too and it showed up on both my cards this time.

        • @jv:

Still not appearing for me in my user page on the app or website

  • Days of bank issued AMEX are limited so I'm not surprised it's AMEX issued only.

  • Cannot see the BP offer and I have two Amex issued cards

    • Me too & I have a Amex issued card too :(

  • The BP offer is not showing up on the DJ Amex card, weird. I can understand why it doesn't show up on Westpac Altitude Black but I would expect it with DJ Amex as it's AMEX issued card…

    Anyone has the same problem?

    • Nope; I have the DJs AMEX card and it showed up automatically in the AMEX app

      • Hmmm, it either rolls up by batches or has already run out…

        I got it last time.

    • BP offer not showing up on my Essentials card either; I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I got the card less than 2 weeks ago.

  • +1

Business charge card - no BP offer :(
    Explorer - bp offer
Plat edge- no bp offer :(

As many have said, BP offer appears targetted.

  • +1

BP Offers are not showing up on both my AMEX issued Essential and Platinum rewards cards. Every other offer I have just saved on both cards on a desktop website. I have checked AMEX App on Android many times, still no luck.

Is there a manual link to register please for BP offer?

    Thank you.

  • Got it last 2 times but was nowhere to be seen this time.
So I guess it's Shell or Caltex as BP is usually overpriced.

  • +5

Not seeing the BP offer either on my AMEX issued Explorer card. OP, you'd be well advised to change this misleading title as this offer clearly is not available to all AMEX issued cardholders.

  • +1

BP offer seems to have expired.
It showed on my account yesterday (and for some silly reason I didn't activate it), and it's gone now.

  • Anyone have Manual link for BP

  • couldn't see the bp on my engineers australia card

    • It's only for amex cards.

  • No BP on my Amex Discover

  • Bp Deal is expired. 15000 must have claimed it already.

  • Can anyone suggest the BP stations near Hornsby area accept AMEX card without extra charges?

    • BP Carlingford. Also they have $25 and $50 gift cards in stock.

  • Got my $10 BP credit today after spending on Tuesday

  • no BP offer for me =( does anyone have a link?

  • Went to BP today - teller goes 3% surchange or Amex - I said okay no worries, filled up $40 and received an email stating $10 credit will be refunded.

Not a complaint as such but I was under the impression businesses that had an Amex relationship wouldn't carry a surcharge? Maybe this a individuals business/franchisee decision?

  • Cant see BP offer on my AMEX Explorer card.

  • Wasn't able to split payments on BP gift cards. So I just ended up buying $50 BP gift cards.

    They sold Myer ($100), BP ($25, $50, $100, $200), Itunes, JB Hi-Fi, Playstation etc.

  • Some BP stations won't let pay using multiple gift cards.. e.g. fill up $50 of fuel but can't use 2x$25 GC

    • One giftcard per transaction was mentioned on the card.Just have to fill up twice and pay twice in order to use your 2*$25.

      • I see - is that what it means? Because I was puzzled by the wording "One card per transaction" printed at the back of the gift card.

Now, if my memory serves me well, I have definitely used more than one card in a transaction (especially to use up some odd remaining amount on a card). So looks like some BP stations want to stick strictly to the rule, while others are easy about it.
