    If not* then, I don't know why your repping up 24months cPanel for free when if you're going to purchase a WHM subscription to hand out cPanel logins, it'd be kinda cruel and mid 1990's not to hand the cPanel logins out to new customers.
    If not again* Can you please edit original post to specify that migration will only be available to existing cPanel users - or users with simple front-end sites. (Case in point, I'd love to see a small team move my CDN with less than 40hours man-time on it, most in ssh)

    I don't host my website with VentraIP anymore as I found a better deal elsewhere. However, I do have my email service with them and have had shared hosting with them in the past. They have an excellent, fast support team and offer great service and uptime.

      We're not trying to mislead you, we're simply stating that if you have anywhere between 1-24 months prepaid with another web hosting provider, we'll honour it. If you have more than 24 months then you're still eligible to get the 2 years free but we unfortunately cannot offer more than that at this point in time.

        I'm sure your intentions are pure, but this can be read that the purchaser can nominate any period up to 24 months, where you're actually matching outstanding service duration. I personally think it could be worded clearer.

    So if I switch to VentraIP they will honour the existing service period I have paid for elsewhere leaving me no better off ?
    If so this is a break even at best.

    Not a rep but can thoroughly recommend VentraIP. I have 4 CPanels & about 6 domains with them and couldn't be happier with the uptime and connection speeds. Australian support team also from what I can tell.

    They also ran a $20,000 giveaway last month for all new subscriptions. Guess their Business Development team got given a new bucket of money to win more customers lol.

        I said I moved the clients to my own servers, it's sad that people can get a better service with a one man band than a big company with extensive resources.

      It sounds as though this may have occurred 'back in the day' as we recently (~12 months ago) moved all outsourced support back into Australia and began offering 24/7 Australian phone support, offering our customers the opportunity to take advantage of instantaneous support around-the-clock.

        I have had a few Melbourne based businesses move away from you guys in the past 12 months, I do still have to manage some domains via your systems and it is mostly trouble free (as I can do it without needing to contact support).

        Most recent client had their "R1Soft backup" disappear when the server had an failure - so clearly not offsite, support had found an offsite backup but would not hand over anything without paying a fee for it. $49.95 for 20MB of files, yet the 10GB backup storage included in their hosting plan was nullified. This business was paying for backups in their hosting costs to only find if they ever needed it they would be held at ransom. I consulted the transition to another company and have been trouble free since. Same people had DNS zones getting deleted from the cluster and all emails would stop working randomly, this happened twice in 2 months.

        My own personal experiences were painful when I moved about 20 domains across, as their system was using cached whois and thought the domains were locked when they were not.

        Hey good luck to anyone who signs up, I know that problems happen but there is ways to handle these issues and it was done poorly on their behalf.
