I thought that was good.. Made me chuckle.

        • -1

So why don't you show your appreciation by clicking the "upvote" button?

        • +2

@0p: already did. He was -4 when i upvoted him

  • +1

I'm not cheap enough to get this credit

  • Thanks i got it aswell.

  • +1

    Received $10 credit email :-)

    • šŸ¤” $10 ?

      • -1

I got $10 as well on club account. Been using my trade account more often for the discount so barely touch the club account.

    • +1

I got $10 too. It says, "we haven't seen you for a while, so to welcome you back…" Which makes no sense because I spent $80 there last week and used my club card!

    • -1

Got $10. Now what to buy?

    • -1

Same, got $10, expires on the 18th as well

    • -1

I'm the same. Now to find a bargain.

  • Didn't get it lol. Even though I'm a member.

  • Link? Where abouts do we even look for it? Logged into my account. Looks like I wasn't targeted…

    • give it time!

  • You get an email with an activation link.

  • What to find that's $5 or below…..

  • +3

Also, please tag Supercheap Auto as a related store and fix the title because it's really messy. If those steps were followed, I wouldn't have posted a duplicate because this would've came up on the search.

    • I wish all businesses were one word, just makes life online easier!

      • "SCA" if only we could use an approved list of abbrev.

        • I like something like Repco as impossible to confuse for something else.

        • @leTintin: Repco bicycles

  • nothing on mine or my dads account yet
edit: 30 seconds later it arrives haha. Thanks op.

  • i just got $10, not sure what to buy

  • Nothing for me, then email arrived with $5 credit to apply on account. Yay.

  • +2

Cheers for the heads up bonky šŸ‘ received the email for $5

  • you need to be subscribed to their marketing emails to receive free credit offers

    • I'm a member, but wasn't subscribed to marketing. Didn't get anything. Just re-checked the marketing box in my profile. We'll see what happens.

  • yas! targeted for once!

  • Received $10 credit email

But when I log into my account I did not see the credit.

    • +5

But when I log into my account I did not see the credit.

      Maybe call the police?

      It's probably Russian hackers.

      • may JV took it… he has $10 not $5

    • Did you click the "Activate Credit" button in the email

      • You don't need to click on any links…

I logged into my account and it was already there.

        • By the time I post it is not there, but they are there now

    • I noticed my $10 email automatically credited the account but the $5 email required clicking "Activate Credit" to receive it.

I made a few accounts back when these first started but only my wife and my account got credit the others didn't.

  • +2

Typical SC marketing sales tactic, lure people with $5 just to get them in the shops and they end up buying more than what is required. I fall for it all the time as a matter of fact.

    • +4

I click & collect and rarely buy stuff I don't need.

    • +4

Funny enough my only 3 past transactions from SCA were items (funnel, buthane gas refills, painters tape) purchased as close to $5 with c&c using the $5 credit given each time šŸ˜³

  • Would you please change Auto Club to Club Plus, in the title?

  • i gots $10 credit. apparently i haven't shopped with them for a while

  • Seems some members received $10 others $5 and some $0.

    I only received $5

  • Mine said $10 too.

  • If you need ideas for spending colourful plastic calipers and flexible funnels for $1

PS - I only got $5 probs spend too much there

  • I got nothing :(

  • Tenner

  • After putting up with Supercheap email spam for months … finally a targeted offer that I received! (not got any of the Ebay ones yet)

  • I got rain X :) I went to redeem and my voucher hadnt loaded into the system.. the guys called there IT guys and all fixed :)

Should be fine for those using tomorrow tho !

Rain X is currently discounted already normally $19.95 but selling for $9.95, this $5 voucher worked well :)

  • i am supercheap enough to get $5 :)

  • i got this email

  • +1

    Got nothing :(

  • $5 for me :)

  • One account $5 and 5 accounts $10.

  • +3

What to spend that $5 on….

Bucket of beer (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Designer-Pail-Buckeā€¦) - sadly just a picture, but I got one of these last time and it's pretty solid & use it to keep the car polish etc in
Light (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/ToolPro-LED-Pen-Worā€¦) - limited stock in stores, got a similar one from Aldi the other day and, assuming it is the same kind of thing, is actually not too bad
Shiny spanners (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/SCA-Spanner-Set-Comā€¦) - titanium kinda finish, apparently. Fancy.
Trim remover (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/ToolPro-Door-Trim-Rā€¦) - for those who do that a lot
50L roller box (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/SCA-Storage-Roller-ā€¦) - $5.50 but could be worth the extra $0.50 investment

I got the spanners. Purty. ;-)

    • 50L roller box is discontinued, so likely in short supply.

Ordered 1 this morning & got call to say no stock or no lid at 10 Brisbane stores staff member rang for me. They will try to have 1 delivered free instead.

Is anyone else getting this: "Sorry we were unable to retrieve your Loyalty Credit balance."?

    • Yep waited too long to use my $10 lol

      • It worked for me now. Just log back in.

        • Thanks it worked! Bought 2 pairs of Haigh Animal Repellers. 50c each!
          http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Haigh-Animal-Repellā€¦

        • @Mahalo:
          Do these actually work?

        • I installed some (more expensive than these) for my last trip to Innamincka.
On the way there, I was asking myself the same question and I thought they worked; the roos and other animals appeared to be more 'aware' of the car approaching and stayed off the road.
Then on the way home, I ran over a roo and had several other near-misses with goats, roos and cattle.

They very much don't work for flocks of birds or the lizards in the NT on the road after rain.

For $5 you may as well try them, it can't really hurt, you may hear them faintly.
… but I don't bother with them on the car anymore.
Not driving at dawn/dusk/night and/or some decent spots a light bar or two are likely much more useful.

        • @albanyson: not sure but wanted to get these and give them a go.

  • took more than 10 minutes (more like 4 hours?) before the credits turned up in my accounts.

    • The funnels will come in handy for my next keg party

  • I bought a USB to Lightning Cable with my $10 credit plus $0.99 on credit card, needed a spare iPhone cable!

    • Good idea. Not exactly particular interest car related, can be used anywhere.

  • Got my credit email for $5 at 4.44pm. I've spent $400+ over the last 2 weeks if it matters

    • spent $75 on a pair of bulbs, the same email had the next model up with 50% off with a $5 credit. so could have got better ones for $30 instead of the $75 i paid yesterday. oh well

      • +1

if you haven't opened it you can return them?

        • +1

unfortunately one blew on the way to the shops so i pulled in and just did it in the carpark.

you win some you lose some. got a free set of mini spanners

        • @stwok:

You buy it again and return the new one with the old receipt. No dramas.

        • +1

@CVonC: Looks like you missed one important part.

the same email had the next model up

          So that won't work.

          @chadiwrx:

Got $10 credit - spent $9.99 on Rain-X. Essentially picked it up for free after work on the way home with 1c left :)

  • Thanks, got it!

  • Lawn Mower blades, new plug both around $5

  • Bought a 100g tube of silicone paste/grease to slather on my brake caliper pins.

Paid like $2.XX after the discount.

Noice and cheap for some preventive maintenance (annually).

    • Damn, I would have gotten that if I'd seen your post earlier. I'm about to replace the pins in my calipers. Ah well.

  • Blah looks like I'm not an easy target…

  • Needed some files… Went with http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Stanley-Hobby-File-ā€¦ for $7.99 (minus 2% cashback and 5% Woolworths)… Roughly $1 per each file in the set
