I seriously have no idea why anyone cares for these store specific deals anymore. I flat out refuse to buy from them.

I got a pretty good deal on a 7700k, and they are hardly ever on special…?
Last week I picked up a Acer X34 for a pretty good price as well.

Yes, there are price jackings, but you can definitely find bargains, so I'm glad the deals are posted.

  • Would anyone be kind enough to recommend the best bang for buck PC from PC Byte under $1000?

    Considering this one:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Intel-4-Core-i5-7400-3-5GHz-8GB-1…
    or this one:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Intel-i5-7600K-4-1GHz-8GB-RAM-1TB…

    • They're both really, REALLY terrible. You should really do some research into building your own in time for the (hopefully) next one by at the end of the month. However, in this case, the $809 one is the lesser of the 2 evils. Feel free to PM if you would like some basic ideas for a build

      • Not looking at building, just looking at grabbing whatever is out there and good value for money.

        • Well, pre-builts and 'good value for money' are usually oxymorons. But the ~$809 one is still the better value here.

  • Seems prices from sellers in the 20% off promo are more expensive than ones that are not.

  • rx100 m3 $540 after 20% off and $100 cash back from Sony. Only 6 available.

    • ebay excluded for 100 EFT pos card and purchase need from authorised dealer. Great finding and Good price though.

      • You get a proper invoice, not ebay mention on it.

Am I still an ozbargainer if the Apple Watch I wanna buy for my wife is $60 less using this code but risks waiting for the drop shipment from Hong Kong and potential other issues with an eBay seller. Or for an extra $60 I can just grab it straight away direct from Apple tomorrow. Ugh can't decide.

    • Do you still get the same local Apple Warranty with the ebay seller?
If not, probably go direct to apple

      • Yeah same warranty. The Ebay seller has 74% rating too. Arrrgghhh

        • +2

          No worth the risk

        • +1

Absolutely do not buy from a seller with a 74% rating. You're just asking for trouble. Anything below very high 90s is a risk.

        • @Becsavers:

          Yeah good call

I'm gonna take her on an outing to Apple Store anyway. Will be more fun as well trying a few on.

    Dear Ebay,

Could you please let my wallet/credit card rest for a bit?

    Kind Regards,

I need a laptop 14 inch or lower that has a decent graphics card. Any recommendations, something that isn't crazy expensive?
I'll live with 15 inch if I have to.

    • I'm searching for the same for a friend right now. Let us know if you find any good deals!

  • can the 20% code still be applied to "make an offer" purchases?

  • Surprised Brintech, the serial hikers are not on the list.

  • Can anyone recommend a 4TB HDD for a NAS?

      WD Red

    • My best experience is with Hitachi (HGST). I know they are now owned by WD but still seems to have the best QC. Many bad runs with Seagate, from consumer to enterprise grade drives, no good.

      Cheers.

      • I second this… HGST has been the most reliable HDD's for us as well… Seagate has been the worse…

  • Damn, Q Acoustics 5.1 set from $849.95 to $679.95 is mighty tempting.

  • Anyone have any experiences with "future gear"? Thinking of buying an Asus VZ27 monitor off their ebay store.

  • moto g5 plus can be had for $304

  • Just very impulsively got a 2017 surface pro i7 8gb 256gb for $1845 from futuregear nz, forgetting about import taxes. Will i be bit with 10% gst tax? And hows warranty with such a purchase?

  • Any laser printer deal?

  • Man need another storewide one. Have some stuff to buy that is not from the selected stores

    • code "CRACKER"

  • Shopping express have DJI mavic pro fly more combos at RRP so with discount come down to $1679.20. 10 in stock

  • anyone bought from 2nd world before ? Im planning to get a new washer and fridge from them for my new house, but the house only will be ready in 2 months time..

  • Thanks OP.

Has anyone had experience with Certified Tech Direct?
    Looking at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-N910G-Black…

As I'm interested in getting a Samsung Note 4, was thinking of getting this to see if it's worth buying a new one, or that I even like the Note 4, and then a buy a new unit, as I prefer new, doing it this way I'll avoid paying a new one, if I don't like it.
Then sell it or keep it as a spare.

Or should just buy a new unit when eBay have another sale (20%)?
I used the search all & only found this listing with this promo.

I believe I need to get the N910G version only (for the 700mHz band/28 - Optus user), is this right?

    Ideas?
