Onepass has no value to me without Catch

    • +26

It's massively money saving to those of us who live away from any kmart, target, officeworks etc.
I've managed to save so much on shipping.

      • +27

Even having Kmart, Target, Bunnings & OW within 30 min driving distance, being able to order items not in stock at the nearest store, and not having to go there wasting time going there, parking, and navigating the whole store, makes it worth it already. For $20 it's well worth it; for $10 it's a no brainer.

        • +1

navigating the whole store, sounds like a perilous journey 😱

        • +1

Totally worth it for the hard to get items that are out of stock in many stores. Plus the bonus flybuys when shopping in store which will cover the price of the membership.

      • +1

Works with Priceline orders too (I discovered just recently).

Decent service for 20 bucks a yesr imo.

      • True.. Bunnings as well. You can get heavy bags of fertilizer, wood mulch, and other gardening supplies delivered almost for free. A couple of orders from Kmart and Bunnings can easily cover the OnePass fee.

    • Probably had about 50 Bunnings deliveries. Totally worth it.

  • -1

Without catch, OnePass is not that useful

    • Remember the best comments i have seen about catch before they ended was “ if catch not closed i will be bankrupt first.

  • +24

Free delivery for Bunnings makes it worth it for me. I brought a $2 fly swatter and it was shipped to me overnight using Startrack. Can't beat that value!

    • +3

Same. Catch and Bunnings are the only 2 stores I have been using OnePass on

Got Bunnings to deliver my fertiliser instead of me carrying it from the store to my car and then into the garage

    • +3

Really? The thing I ordered from my local Bunnings ~10 days ago only just got it's shipping information updated this morning.. :/

      • +3

I have found it’s definitely store-dependent. My closest store is excellent but the store just a little further in the opposite direction takes a lot longer to even think about packing and shipping items ordered online.

      • +5

There's a weight limit on the OnePass shipping (so you're not going to be ordering a truckload of timber) but the minimum spend has been gone for ages.

        • thanks mate.

        • +4

Sometimes the weight limit can be bypassed. Eg, you can't order two bags of compost, only one, so just place two orders.

          • @realJuliusCaesar: Yes, I always split orders and they just arrived on the same day. The only thing is I want to buy 50L potting mix which is cheaper than 2x25L, but it over the weight limit.

      • +2

I had to order 4 bags of soil individually to get the free post. But I did and they were all delivered together.

    • +1

Yes $10 hacksaw overnight by Startrack.

    • $2 fly swatter delivered using Startrack

Just wait for all them tricolor folks to put flies under the RSPCA!
      Gonna cost you!!

      • +6

You must be exhausted being so angry that a funny Bunnings order leads to a rant.

  • +5

Any deals for existing one pass members that are due to expire within 30-60 days?

    • +1

just sign up as a new member and forget about the one expiry soon?

      • +2

Will that require a new email address, and possibly re-linking all the different store accounts/cards?

        • +1

The easiest solution is a new email address for those stores too. I had a hell of a time getting Kmart/Bunnings unlinked and then relinked to the new OnePass email

          • +1

            @MBix: That's a lot of effort, +flybuys too. I'll be patient for a deal.

          • @MBix: How did you unlink accounts from your onepass anyways? Did you have to contact onepass?

            • +1

@jsb: It’s meant to be pretty straight forward but it’s definitely not. I had to contact both Kmart/Bunnings and OnePass to do it. Onepass and Bunnings support wasn’t too bad. Kmarts is next to hopeless

        • Actually it's not just a new email address (at least for this one), it continually refused me because of the mobile number already existing.

        • Thankyou. This info saved me a big headache. I'd rather pay the $40 for the convenience than waste the time and frustration going through all this

    • +3

I tried to cancel before but they offered me $20 off the membership so ended up being 20 bucks renewal fee. Though we won't get the $10 kmart voucher.

      • i never get those !! are there any special tricks ?

        • I got an email offering me $20 for another year.

          • @UrbanLegend: Yes, me too, but I'm not clear about whether it will resets my current subscription or will apply after it ends.

            • +2

@simb24: It will apply after your current subscription ends, i.e. you'll be charged $20 when it's time for renewal.

      • +1

I did this just now as mine expires in 8 days. $20 renewal and the kmart $10!

        • Same with me
          Cancelled & received this offer.
Applied & charged at upcoming renewal date. Receive $10 voucher then.

    • I click cancel as soon as i sign up.
I got an offer for pay $20 to renew for another year.

    • My onepass expires next week, and when I went to cancel it I was offered the $20 offer with the $10 gift card to stay.

      YMMV

  • +11

the trick is to find something where Kmart won't cancel your order

    • just go to Kamrt and buy whatever, return and they give you another voucher last for extra 30 days

    • +5

I bought two discounted bluetooth adaptors from Kmart and instead they sent me a book

Wasted an hour to complain and eventually got a refund for one bluetooth adaptor.

I assume the bluetooth adaptors were out of stock and someone just decided to send me a book on clearance instead of dealing with the issue.

      • +2

        Was it good?

      • +1

No, having worked there the process of fulfilling online orders is a disorganised mess. A mixture of paper and digital orders that aren't being properly tracked, items often out of stock, and navigating confusing and cluttered aisles to find products under time pressure. Not to mention mistakes can easily be made when packaging up all the items.

      • Which book?

  • I don't see anything about the $10 Kmart credit on their page?

    • Check the OP. There are seperate links for $10 credit for different stores.

  • +9

Remember that if you spend $1000 per year in-store across Kmart, Target, Officeworks and Bunnings combined, you break even the cost of a $20 OnePass membership with the 5x bonus Flybuys Points.

    • +9

Thats a lot of spend for $20 of value…

      • +2

Unless one is renovating or furnishing a home.

      • +1

You also get the other OnePass perks. Plus I reckon a good chunk of people would hit $1000 through Officeworks and/or Bunnings alone.

      • +1

You break even even earlier if you get them delivered.

  • +9

I don't know how these OnePass rewards work but if you replace Kmart in the URL with Bunnings, Target, Officeworks or Priceline the sign up page says you'll receive a $10 reward for one of those shops instead:

    • -1

humm. mine didn't say anything about the $10 reward… did I miss something here?

  • +1

seems like it doesn't work for someone who have signed up b4. I can see the image stating $10 before logging in. but just after I log in the image is gone and I suppose so does the $10 credit… not sure why but I feel terrible about onepass now…

    • +1

      Same for me.

      • I had one pass before, joined with this link, and within minutes got the $10 credit in email, also its there in dashboard>rewards section of one pass account

    • -1

I don't get $20 worth of value of out of it, which is why I cancelled before my renewal. $10 a year seemed fair. When I logged in the $10 voucher offer disappeared, so I closed the tab and moved on.

    • I had one pass before, and cancelled, joined with this link, and within minutes got the $10 credit in email, also its there in dashboard>rewards section of one pass account

  • +4

If you currently have a membership and want to renew for $20, try the code they gave me which I am not going to use MJUGP94XM

    • Thanks. It says "this code has been used". Admittedly very late to the party. Worth a try though..

  • Thanks for reminding me to cancel, cheers

  • The main reason I never find Onepass useful is that I can't use my 6-10% discounted gift card at OW, Kmart and Bunnings online.
(I know Bunnings online accepts new version of gift card but only old version gift card is discounted.)
That makes the whole deal a totally unacceptable loss to a true OZBer.

  • +2

I already have onepass, but just for anyone on the fence, Kmart, Target, Bunnings etc all charge around $10 shipping per order for standard shipping of small items. You only have to order something from one of them twice and you're even on the cost. Every delivery after that is free (except bulky items).

Also if you rarely buy things and don't want to fork out $20 ($40 normal price) just sign up for a month when you buy something. Its $4 a month, which is less than the $10 shipping.

also note that you can pay for it with your flybuys points - 4,000 pts while its on sale, 8,000 pts when its not. No idea if thats good value, but if you have points lying around…

  • +1

I love my Onepass!! I live in Tassie so many things are out of stock locally. My kids live in Queensland so I order things for them which was incredibly handy this year as they both moved house and needed a few things. The 3 week delay on an item from Bunnings was disappointing but my Kmart, Officeworks and Catch deliveries were all delivered in a good time frame. I’ll definitely be getting it again when my runs out (with a discount, like a true Ozbargainer!!)

  • I've renewed OnePass as when I went to cancel, I received the $20/year offer, and it's handy for Priceline, Kmart and Target, although with the latter there seems to be more and more products - even very small items - that aren't included in the OnePass free delivery.

I probably won't renew again once this 12 months is up, especially now Catch has gone - Bunnings (nearest store is 80km away) won't deliver to our area at all, so OnePass is no use there except for 5 x Flybuys points if I buy instore. Officeworks will deliver, but the nearest store is 200km away and nothing qualifies for OnePass free delivery, no matter how small the item is. I'm in a regional area, but it's not like I live out the back of beyond.

Last week I remembered (again) that I need a pencil sharpener. I could not be bothered going to the shops just for it and have previously forgotten to pick it up when shopping. I used OnePass to have one two-pack of pencil sharpeners for $0.49 delivered from Officeworks.

Good for me, but I don't see how this is economically sustainable.

Previously most of my OnePass orders were in the $30 ~ $400 range, so I can see some scope there to recoup the costs, but not on a two-pack of pencil sharpeners for $0.49.

Any tips for getting a promo code for OnePass so that in 180 days I don't have to pay full price for renewal? ;-)

    • I also bought a two pack pencil sharpener from Kmart. Many of my orders are small :D

  • Thank you for this.

I signed up (for the first time ever) and my $10 voucher arrived within minutes.

  • I got a similar $20 deal but with 2000 flybuys points instead and I have signed up. It will take a few weeks to get the points.

  • Looks like the $10 voucher doesn't apply if you already have a OnePass account (even if it is not active). Anyone else already with a OnePass account that is not active AND taken up this offer and received the $10 voucher?

    • +1

I had one pass before, joined with this link, and within minutes got the $10 credit in email, also its there in dashboard>rewards section of one pass account

      • +1

Thanks for following up with a reply. I gave it a go in the end myself - shared the process in a comment below as it worked for me too.

  • +2

Siged up this morning with the Bunnings link but haven't yet received the $10 voucher. It does say can take up to 24hrs so if I don't see it tommorow I'll contact support.

I noticed there was no mention of the voucher after setting up the account but I'm pretty sure I've never had OnePass or a trial previoisly. The terms state "Offer not available to current OnePass members." so inactive accounts should still receive it depending how you interpret that. I would read that as current members with an active subscription.

    • Same with me. Just contacted support and requested cancellation and full refund.

    • Did you get the $10 voucher? I've just signed up 15 minutes ago and no voucher as yet. Definitely I have had no OnePass before

      • +2

Just got a response from onepass support "I can confirm that for the $10 Bunnings gift card promotion, Bunnings will be sending out the gift cards via email on 28th of June 2025."

        • Crikey that's a big delay. I called support and all I got is they will escalate it to a higher up person for investigation. Since then I've heard nothing and no rewards in my OnePass either……

Hopefully it is just a delay. I did Bunnings too.

Apart from phoning up during hours is there any way to contact them?

          • +1

@Greens: Just received an email from OnePass:

Thanks for joining OnePass. Your $10 Bunnings eGift card OnePass reward to use at Bunnings will be emailed to you before Thursday 3rd of July 2025. Keep an eye on your inbox – Bunnings will be in touch soon!

I was going to contact support to query the voucher but looks like I won't have to now. I signed up on the 30th so took a week to receive that email. I guess Bunnings need to send out all the vouchers whereas other stores must be automatic in your account after sign up.

            • @TheWiz: Thanks for letting me know. I'm still waiting for either the credit on my account and/or an email so fingers crossed.

            • @TheWiz: It is 3 July 2:54pm here where I am, no emails from Bunnings yet

              • +1

@alexshel: Me neither, I almost forgot about this. Time to contact support in the next couple days I think

                • @TheWiz: Received a response from Onepass asking to contact Bunnings directly. I asked for a full refund and membership cancellation, as I don't see any value in this membership.

  • +4

Further to my above comment, I actually ended up joining via the Officeworks link:

    • I already had a OnePass account, albeit not with active membership.
    • Went through the process by logging into OnePass after clicking Officeworks link, and then having to click 'other offers' to ensure i got the $20 annual fee offer.
    • After adding payment details (chose PayPal FWIW) membership renewal was confirmed.
    • 3 minutes later received email with $10 Officeworks voucher.

TLDR; you can subscribe to this offer with a lapsed member account, and you will get the $10 voucher.

    • No luck here renewd OnePass for $20 via Officeworks link with lasped OnePass membership :-((

      • +1

I'd reach out to support as it definitely worked for me, so there is a chacnce they could honour it for you. Not sure it will help, but have attached a screenshot of the email in the inbox that I received after following the steps I listed above. Doesn't really prove much unfortunately, other than maybe give you hope to try!

        Email inbox screenshot

        • frankly not woth the effort. Ive already got 3x Amex Officeworks Spend 150 Get 10 activated- make Coles Myer Wesfarmers work more when I pay for everything always with Amex
It was just a marketing teaser me thinks

          • +2

@glyptothek: Update - emailed support this morning via OnePass website re missing voucher - just now received Officeworks $10 credit- no respone to email from supports just a OnePass email with Officeworks $10 credit

            • +1

@glyptothek: Got an email from OnePass support - after email with $10 discount - they said there is an issue with issuing the Officeworks $10 credit

    • +1

I did the same thing as @smifter above, and can confirm that the $10 Officeworks GC arrived a few minutes after rejoining OnePass (my old membership ended about 7mths ago).

    • @smifter My membership is up for autorenewal for $40 on 30/6 and I am thinking about attempting to cancel my membership and see if they offer me the $20 renewal.

My question is, if your account is inactive, do you have to relink onepass to all the stores when your account is reactivated? I remember linking the stores was painful!

      • +1

My experience is it stays linked so when u renew it just starts working again straight away

        • Cheers! That's it then. Time to cancel!

      • +1

Not in my experience, they stay linked.

When I went back in this time around, for example, all my stores from before remained linked.

Interestingly, Instascripts had been added since my last active membership (or I simply hadnt connected it before) and so I just chose to link that one.

        • +1

Yeah I think InstaScript is new.

FYI. When I cancelled I got offered the $20 deal with the $10 Kmart voucher which I took. Thanks!
