  • Description for the Ipad 2017's says LTE 4g o.O will see if I get lucky when it comes :D

  • +1

Looks like they've taken them off again

    • Yep. "1 sold" and listing ended.

      • +4

That person will be lucky to get it. Myer sold several 2016 13" MBP on eBay and then refunded buyers when they couldn't fulfil orders. I was one of them. No communication. First thing you hear of it is a Paypal email

        • Hope not :( the Ipad was a present for my mum.. I've received an order confirmation so far, hope thats a good sign!

        • +2

me too here, brought in Wednesday night, refund me Friday saying out of stock.

        • @Jerryqinzhang:

It would have been nice to have been at least offered the newer model at a minimal price difference. Even if no one took them up it would have showed a willingness to rectify the situation in a more positive way.

Saturday morning for me, bought on Monday evening.

        • @JF: 100% agree. Wondering do other retailer like JB hifi or Officeworks can price match up?

  • Great Find.

  • +2

This item is temporarily sold out.

Does this mean they will have stock again when the discount code expires?

  • +1

I grabbed a mba on Wednesday At 15% off, guess I'll count myself lucky they sent it and not cancelled it

    • +1

The people that got caught out were buying the 2016 models, newer ones they would have likely just got more stock in. Just sucky timing as these were on the Monday 15% off sale which meant missing the Wednesday sale when they didn't let buyers know until Saturday.

      • Took a couple of days for my MBP 2017 model to be posted from Wednesday but it's now on the way (hopefully!)

        • Did you get a tax invoice or a tracking number with yours? All I've had so far is the status updated to "sent".

        • @thatguyfromthatplace:
Nope. I ordered a 256gb non-touch macbook pro 2017 and all I got was a sent notification with no tracking or tax invoice.

        • @InoStuff: I bought the same and have received both invoice and tracking in separate emails.

          @InoStuff:

Ruh roh. I'm a bit concerned with the overall process of buying from Ebay tbh. This is the first big purchase I've made through them, and actually getting to the payment screen was crazy. It took a good forty minutes of faffing about and trying different browsers, confirming payment methods, getting it to accept the code etc. Now there's no communication from Myer. I hope it actually comes.

        • @Amie:
Weird I've just checked my old email linked to my eBay account. I just got a confirmation of order email. No tax invoice or tracking no. I hope it comes in the mail with one. Did you get the invoice email yesterday ?

        • @thatguyfromthatplace: just a sent on eBay at this stage

        • @InoStuff:

I got that one on Wednesday night.

        • @InoStuff: Both email received on Friday. Auspost sent the tracking email and Myer sent the invoice.

  • It seems like everything has been taken down?

  • +1

    No more Apple TVs )=

  • I was wondering how long can we wait to claim TRS? What is the latest date I can leave Australia and still claim?

    • +1

      +60 days from invoice date

  • Theres no ipads…

  • All listings ended.

    • -2

      Doesn't deserve a neg.

  • Damn it. Was about time I upgraded my late 2012 model.

    All disappeared.

They have a grubby way of doing business

    • What issue did you have?

      • +3

        "A grubby one"…whatever that means.

      • His issue is they hide their deals and wait until the 15% store wide ends before putting it back again although for them tehcnically there is no money to be lost as eBay is the one fronting the 15% unless there is a different agreement between vendor-ebay that we are not aware of.
Or some apple pricing shit but that shouldn't be applicable as they are not selling it 15% lower than RRP, we as buyer pay less because eBay pay the rest. It's a big difference.

  • +2

Fk MYER and ebay , now this two together now you know we in. Trouble

  • +2

I don't get it why myer needs to remove these items, as the discount is provided by ebay, hence myer will receive full payment same as sold after the code expires. I believe myer just don't want people getting bargain, same situation such as lego assembly square, as soon as ebay starts 15% off, they remove it, as soon as the code expires, they put back. Luckily yesterday they didn't know ebay has 15% off started at 10am, hence 33 sold, a few Brodens bought 5 per order.Shame on Myer.

    • +1

Unless it's to do with Apples pricing policy?

      • +1

Ahhhhhh, this might just make sense

      • Doesn't matter about the pricing policy as Myer still got what they listed, we pay 85% and Ebay pays 15%. simply myer just don't want customer getting cheap items. rubbish business!

  • +3

Yes I dare say it is due to Apples minimum pricing policy for resellers.

  • +1

Got a Sent notification for my iPad, thanks Hamza23!!! Pays to check Ozbargain at midnight these days :)
