        Incorrect; the new A9/M9 processor in the current iPad has sped things up a lot.

        the CPU improvement can be ignored for normal tasks,
        but the 2017 version does have a better GPU, it outperforms air 2 in gaming.
        I'd rather go for the iPad air 2 as the 2017 iPad has a shitty screen.

        you could youtube the iPad Air 2 vs 2017 iPad comparison.

        I mainly use iPad to read books, so screen is more important to me.

  If u don't care about cellular, u can get a wifi version for a whole lot cheaper.

  Vaya mobile has wifi model for 659. U can prob find one cheaper though
