It's about time, Nandos "normal" prices are getting ridiculous

      • +12

Reason why Ive stopped eating Nando's. The price was way overkill.

Same here, kfc is the best value for money when it comes to taste and feeling full afterwards

        • +3

          @montorola: kfc and taste, really?

        • @DiscoJango: I got to agree here, I'm no stranger to forcing junk into my gullet (unfortunately) but KFC has two speeds, sugary sweet and overly salty… there's no flavour there

    Spackbace: "lol no"

    • +1

Hey I've posted bread deals :P

  • How much is this normally?

    • +12

      Being nandos, probably $49.50

    • +1

Well you can't buy 4 ribs. 8 ribs are generally around $9. I usually get BBQ basting for the ribs and hot for the chicken.

Nothing beats the crispy skin/fat on the ribs…. mmm im so hungry

    • Don't know about ribs price but 1/4 chicken and one side are normally $10.90 IIRC so it's like 4 ribs for 10¢ more.

  • I can buy a whole chicken for this price…

    • +1

But will it taste as good?

      • +2

        Yes.

        • Like chicken

    • What about the chips?

  • Is it for Brisbanians and Perthlings only?

    • Sif sneaky edit!

      🐣 🐤

      Will find out tomorrow

      • h4x.

      • So I am assuming all the NSW fam can join in on the fun as well as you haven't posted anything saying otherwise?

EDIT: Never mind Nando's confirmed nationwide on fb page

  • So what's that? An entree?
Nando's has always had the smallest chickens I've ever seen sold at such a high mark-up

    • +1

It's not all about the size, it's about the flavour!

      (that's what she said)

  • I find that I'm having to nibble on their chicken rather than bite.

    • Gotta make it last longer.

I prefer El Jannah chicken.. 1 whole charcoal chicken and 2 small garlic sauce $12.90. Much better tasting and I recommend adding their Tabouli salad on the side!

    • That sounds familiar, thats Granville right, if so, yeah they're pretty awesome

  • what are the ribs? is it the small things on the right in the pic? so like nuggets on the bone size or something?

    • The texture is similar to thighs, really pretty tasty in bbq sauce. Sometimes I have gotten them (comes in 8) and a regular chips and its enough to eat for a lunch.

    • Yeah they're kinda like I guess drumettes?

      • Had it, decent meal for less than the standard meal, with 4 bonus … what do would you call the jnr version of a drumette….

  • Bonus, I got a freebie voucher for ordering this might just be from my local? Free meatballs and reg side for next order.

  • still a bit dear at $11 me thinks

    • Chicken, not dear.

      • lol
