Not everyone has money to buy oled. Your neg is for wrong reason.

That's another $2K+ on top that a lot of people aren't prepared or able to spend on a TV.

    • dyslexic much?

    • thanks for your comment, it was really helpful

  • This was one of about 30 tvs I saw playing the same source material in JB Hifi one day. Along with every other LED TV it was made to look about 10 years old by the LG OLED. It made me realise that it ain't worth spending any money on a TV if it ain't and OLED. I've now got an OLED sitting in my living room because of that moment last month.

I was at JB the other day and I saw the new Sony OLEDs. They look awesome, and definitely better than LED. But if you don't have an OLED next to your LED TV at home, you won't be reminded of that.

    • I would expect it to be better for at least double the price in most cases :P

  • What's the KD55X8500E like? Coupon works on it too.

  • Deciding whether to get this Sony or the Panasonic TH65EX780A.

    • I would also consider the Pana EX780A if it wasn't for the massive stand. It won't fit on my entertainment unit, let alone with a soundbar too.

      • I don't have that problem as I will be wall mounting it. Do you think the Pana is the better TV?

        • +1

From whirlpool I read the Pana is more equivalent to the X9000E, which would make it better than this one. But I haven't compared in person myself.
