        I had an issue where the 99c was ADDED to the $US3.15 (or whatever the price was in USD)

        At 1.2W it must be a bit dim for any distance.

          It's a lot brighter than you would think. Lights up areas quite good compared to a focused area from a headlight.

          these things are very bright for its size… plug into USB of laptop.. since mine doesnt have an illuminating keyboard this works great..

          also have one as a night light on a timer.

    Got mine yesterday from the last deal, much better light output than the generic ones found on ebay, with the added benefit of having an on/off switch + variable brightness.

          This has an on-off switch plus dimming. Others don't even have a switch… they just turn on when you plug them in!

    Don't need it. Not sure exactly what it does but it has soothed my retail needs for $1.24.

    Tell me how this happens: log in, add 1 to cart, checkout, enter code [total reduced], select unregistered mail, total shows $1.25 AUD, select "pay with paypal", amount taken from paypal $3.19 USD which means I get slugged a currency conversion fee as well (total $5.63 AUD). WTF?

      After 30 min annoying online chat I discover I was not charged in USD. They just refer to all payments in USD. Still a major flaw in their system if a code becomes expired or invalid (after you check out) they charge you full price plus extra, without any notification.
