Hi OP, RRP and the lowest ever deal price in the post, please!

  • I bought this at the last post and the only bug bear is the battery, with battery saver turned on you might get between 3-4 hours of browsing.

Those who bought the Acer Spin 5 from this deal gets a pat on their backs, this laptop gets double the usage time.

Acer Spin 5 is a better device. Officeworks sells it but SSD storage is 128GB only.

      • Generally I find Dell's have a better build quality than Acer (and quite a few other laptops like Gigabyte and Asus)

  • $899 seems to be a lot to pay for a Inspiron 13 2-in-1 with an i5. Unless this one does what all other inspiron's can't and that is last more than around 5 hrs..

    • seems like a pretty good price to me - i5 is still pretty fast plus its got FHD touch, 256GB SSD and 8GB ram. I bought an older model of this 2 years ago and paid around $1400 I think.

      • I swear I saw something cheaper (after negotiation) and specced at JB the other day with either HP/Lenovo (much better battery life!)
Yes i5 is fast, but $899 seems to be a premium for performance.

    • Spectre x2 is slower chip and I am real suspicious of the connection between screen and keyboard. A Spectre x360 pro would be a whole other story but more expensive than this dell, but it would deliver what you pay for.

If it matters to you the new 8th Gen 7000 model will be out very soon and is a major upgrade.
