The mega drive is shit, it's made by a crappy company, not by sega, it is licensed, but its really really bad, don't recommend.
I think you’re better off getting an original Megadrive off Gumtree or pay a bit (a lot?) more from The Gamesmen.
You can get the mega drive but it's crap; you can't get the Nintendo SNES / NES mini but they're great.
It's interesting how these two companies diverged.

Isn't this just basic market forces in play?
More so that Sega could have made the new one like old, but instead released it to another company who used the license and made something people think is average, whereas Nintendo didn't and their offering is so popular you can't even buy one.
I don't understand how the audio is so shot on these, like, an emulator on my phone 5+ years ago could do it perfectly.
Still, if you want something "modern" to play you're Mega Drive carts on, it does the job fine. Could be worth shelling out a bit more for the HDMI version though, just my three cents.
Good value 80 games for $80
It's not all original games though. I think 40 of them are actual games that got released by sega and the other 40 are shitty knockoff games. http://www.funstockretro.co.uk/sega-mega-drive-genesis-wirel… I have a previous version that was released and it has horrible sound issues so i wouldn't recommend it.
Oh yes the classic 'Lost World Sudoku' and who can forget the memorable 'Yawning Triceratops'. Doesn't matter if the sound is shit either I suppose.

I would not buy nor recommend anyone buys a 'Sega Mega Drive Classic Game Console' until it is verified, not claimed by the company, that they have fixed the sound issues with the crappy SEGA Mega-Drive re-releases.
