    I would be very cautious about buying from this seller for a number of reasons:

    1. The website is not secure even though they have an entire page dedicated to how much information they collect from you (http://realleather.com.au/privacy-policy-cookie-restriction-…). I definitely would not provide personal and credit card details using this site.

    2. The seller does not have a valid ABN and is not GST registered. This was picked up by JV based on OPs post only a week ago but I can no longer find the post to link to.

    3. The seller's address is dubious. There is no actual street number given.

    4. The OP failed to clarify any of these issues during his last post despite multiple people picking up on these issues (and despite the OP stating he has been in business for well over 15 years). This is a big red flag as far as I am concerned.

    Bottom line - be very careful here.

      Website is under
      AAHELI OCEANIA PTY LTD
      ABN 72 143 913 151
      Active from 01 Jul 2010

      owned by op where as OPs own ABN 89 542 038 249 as sole trader started in jan 2 2003 and ended a few days before the pty ltd was established. but doesn't detail the nature of the business during that time.

      this should give you enough to go on if theres any problems with your purchase.

      edit: that aptly named "cheap lah" section on the site had me in stiches.

      • +1

        Thanks for clarifying these items to WTF. He or She does not like my site. I am not able to help him or her.

        Cheap la was an experiment to fix something in the site. Site maintenance is an ongoing work.

        We take all payments through Paypal. If you are not happy you can ask paypal to get a refund. Just return the merchandise.
        There is a Facebook page as well. There are a lot of people behind the website.

        • OP, Just because you use Paypal that does not make your site safe for purchasers. If you do not understand website security - then please get professional advice from someone that does.

          To you your website maybe be still under development and maybe still an 'an experiment', but from a buyers perspective, i don't think anyone wants people experimenting on us! Perhaps, wait until you fix your issues before posting here as your reputation is going to take a hammering if you keep posting like this.

          It is not a question of if I like your site or not. Its about keeping my purchase safe (and that of others). You have to understand that there are a lot of scammers on ozbargin. I don't know you and I cannot tell the difference from a genuine person and a scammer.

          Also, please provide a proper address on you contact details page and respond to specific issues raised rather than getting annoyed. If you run a business, then you need to respond to questions about your business from potential customers.

          Bottom line -If you want to run a GOOD business, then TAKE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES SERIOUSLY. Otherwise, be prepared for your business to fail.

          @WTF:

          You do not know a lot about any business from ABN numbers and addresses. I would request you to put your comments elsewhere. Just leave.

        • +1

          @Kingshuk:
          You're right to say you can't tell a business by its ABN but what I think WTF is trying to imply is that people still can make assumptions based on the information widely available on the internet with regards yourself and your business, which (as much as it should or shouldn't) will directly influence their purchasing decisions.

          Don't take it the wrong way but it didn't take long at all to find enough information online to paint a picture of yourself from your education in south east Asia, to your employment in one of our universities, to you currently establishing a small business. In my opinion anonymity is a luxury in todays day and age.

          What I mean is, by your statement below and on the ASICs website the business was registered in 2010 (and the following are purely assumptions) but the fact that the website is still under development will mean either you only moved onto this ecommerce platform with a preexisting market (unlikely as after 7 years registering the business the actual address is still from your place of residence, which itself still opens up to many scenarios) or you have just started selling these products after 7 years of trying to establish your core products or supply.

          Its always easier to blow 3 dollars with an online site without a business address, than 50 dollars on a local business without one thats established for that long. its all about risk perception and its something that'll take too long to discuss.

          Put yourself in your clients shoes and consider these concerns with all the possible negatives while you move forward in your venture.
          Good luck with your growth :)

      • For our own security we do not want to publish our plot number on the site. I do not know what problem it causes to WTF.

        Aaheli Oceania Pty Ltd was registered with Australian Securities and Investments Commission. It's Australian Company Number (ACN) is 143913151 .According to Australian Securities and Investments Commission(ASIC), the company was established on 27/05/2010 as a Proprietary other.

          So you are not giving out your own address for your security but you expect others to provide their personal details on your un-secure website and you think that is OK??

      When you buy from a small business you are not helping a CEO buy his tenth investment property. You are helping a little girl get her dance lessons, a little boy get his footy sessions, a mum put food on table, a dad pay his bills.
