geez for only 2 games on PS3, you could add that to the title and not waste our time

    • I second that.
This is a classic example of what a title should not be.

      Title should be descriptive:
      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:title_guidelines

As usual, I expect higher standards from a rep. Especially since you've been here since May and have posted a few before.

      • Misleading title is misleading.

        • The title is not misleading really. It says manager's special and guess what you got? A manager's special.

It is not very descriptive no.

        • furyou and mannysr, title fixed.

As per the voting guidelines, removing your neg votes.

Negatives left to ask for corrections to a post are also helpful (eg a condition left out of the title) but may be removed after the corrections have been made, either by the original poster or a Mod

  • Res Evil Gold for XBox or PS3 is around $25 from Zavvi …

  • I guess its good for those who are after an AUS copy

It's only really stores that take 2nd hand games that care about this. Most gamers dont care where a game is from as long as its the same and it works.

  • or a copy NOW

  • RE5, especially the gold(adds more multiplayer) edition, is quite heavy on the multiplayer aspect so does anyone know whether you can play with other Aussies online if you have the UK version?

    • Yeah, the two games are identical (just the cover rating is different), as are most AUS/UK PAL games with the exception of some Aussie games which have been censored like GTA IV and Silent Hill Homecoming.

The bonus DLC would be redeemable via download using codes they give you.

Then I guess this EB deal is a bit expensive.
Can't justify paying $14 more just for an Aus PAL copy.

  • You forgot to say it's Resident Evil 5.

    • So many noobs, so little patience..,

the biggest thing you guys should be concerned about with purchasing this game is if it's the move compatible copy, I got mine from the hut for $26. if it's not the move edition your getting ripped. As far as local copies go, good deal!

      • Well even if it's just the gold edition the update makes it identical to the move edition apparently so it doesn't matter.
However the original RE 5 lacks move support as well as the extras featured in the gold edition.

        • Move updates aren't small updates, easier to get the move edition in the first place and install the game, than dl the patch

        • It's much cheaper though.
Similar thing with Heavy Rain. Once updated, the move edition adds squat apparently.

But if for some reasJBon you want to get the move edition over the normal edition then yeah I supposed it would be easier.

  • Would be a good game if you just purchased the PS3 Move.
