          If you have to take an item off the shelf @ $19.00 then you cannot sell it to the person that walks in off the street for $169.00 - net reduction in profit of $150.00

          Thanks, I understand what you're getting at now but these are fast to restock and realistically how many would be sold at full price in the 3-4-5 days until they are? You could also fuffill the discounted stock from the new stock coming in so the actual figure is a lot lower.

          It is regardless how many units will be sold if it is full price. Because you can argue they will all eventually be sold at 169… you can never know.

          And what I said was that they can replenish to stock within days which is something you haven't taken into account or even supply the online orders a few days later thus avoiding shelves going empty.
