Credit to gnv9 for posting the competition that leads to this voucher over in the competitions section

Uniqlo sent me a voucher for $10 off with $50 minimum spend upon submitting an entry for the competition to win a Nintendo Switch. The entry condition is to sign up to their mailing list, which I already was so basically no impact.

The conditions state that the voucher is available online only and valid for 30 days from the date of the email. It also states that it is only usable once, so it may be restricted to 1 per account and may be restricted to accounts that have entered the contest, although I haven't been able to confirm either of those.

Thanks to Shwayne/Skramit for pointing out that orders have to be over $50 after you apply the $10 discount or you'll pay another $6 for shipping.

      Note you have to spend $60 to get free shipping because if you apply the coupon to $50 it takes the total to $40 then they add shipping.

    Why the hell are all the mens jeans 34" leg now? I bought a pair of 32" leg jeans from uniqlo last year and they were the best fitting jeans i've ever had, seems them dont make them anymore :(

      Well you can get them hemmed, but if you are taller you can't make a 32 leg longer… Not economical for them to make two leg sizes. Pretty clear.

        Yeah so they now cost another $10 min for anyone who doesn't have a 34" leg, plus you have to go to the trouble of getting them altered. Most if not all other jean suppliers have various leg lengths, just seems like a weird change of policy to me. Would be interesting to see how their jean sales are doing since they've made this change.

          I know they do free alterations when you buy the pants in store, took them less than an hour on a busy day for mine last time. I haven't checked but I feel fairly confident they would do they same if you brought in an online order with the invoice

          It is pretty frustrating that their only leg is 34" across all waist sizes. With the narrower waists they should offer a shorter leg. I mean how many people would really fit a 31x34?

          Fortunately they do free pant hemming. Can take a business day however.

          If even the narrowest waisted jeans are cut to someone who is 6'1 then what chance does the average Australian customer have?
          The labor costs from hemming and amount of fabric they are wasting must be substantial.
