      yes I ordered 4-5 weeks ago and have chased them three time. no response and no email update until last week when I logged into my account and found the status of the order had changed to inprocess. im still waiting for the item atm. it's kind of a joke and this website is strongly not recommended.

    Has anyone used one of these? The specs sound great for the price.

    I'm looking for a watch with GPS for run-tracking, without needing to bring the phone along. Not clear from the product description if this device offers that feature.

      apparently good as a fitness watch but not very good as a smartwatch.

      If you want a bit of both, I recommend Samsung Gear S2 or S3.

      It's great man - unbelievable price for what you get, I just did Around the Bay in a Day yesterday and it held charge the whole time while my friends were scrambling for their battery packs to top up their garmins xD (to be fair this doesn't capture cadence, power meters etc but still amusing). Here's my little review:

      Pro

      • Cheap as chips
      • GPS tracking fairly accurate, even compared to the garmin
      • uploading data now better with upload via wifi
      • I can upload a picture of my face onto my watch

      Neg

      • only uplaods to Strava
      • takes an annoyingly long time to find GPS (i just choose skip and start running/biking wait for it to pick up the signal later)
      • bright enough but not super bright
      • no turn by turn GPS direction (I believe there was a hack to enable this)

      For $100 can't go wrong really : )

      Edit: good point Scrimshaw! I use it primarily as a sporting device, to tell the time and to listen to music while I wait for the bus. This doesn't have the super hi tech stuff like making calls from your wrist.

        I don't know which Garmin you are comparing to, but my 235 is way better than the Garmins you mentioned above.
        Even with a 3-4 hour GPS on in a week, Bluetooth call and text notifications, battery lasts lot more than a week.

    Why many of this things focus on health and fitness, I really want super smart fancy watch don't need it to remind me to stand up or drink after certain time, or track my sleep and my run. I want camera and talk and all the James bond stuffs.

    Took an entire month for gearbest to finally ship this watch to me….. upon opening, I charged it to 100%, then was prompted to do a software update… after update it won't turn back on and says there is 0% battery.. I'm beyond pissed off at this point.

      Watch finally booted back up, lasted 10 minutes and then has gone back to saying 0% battery… I usually support xiaomi products, but I would recommend sticking away from this product. Will follow up with response from gearbest as their support has been pretty appalling from past experience.

          I usually support xiaomi products, but I would recommend sticking away from this product.
