Ordered on 12th from last deal, shipped on 17th and expect to arrive on 25th. Not as slow as I expected. So far quite happy with the handling speed. Will wait to see if it arrives on 25th.

  • Is there an option to upgrade ram to 16GB?

Also can I claim TRS on it?

    • You will get a proper tax invoice from Lenovo Australia so yes TRS is definitely fine.

    • RAM can be upgraded to 16GB ram for about $105

  • Do you think it is possible this deal may be extended, or return during next week? Maybe I should email Lenovo and ask.

    • my tax invoice date is the ship out date for the record. I heard sometimes their shipping process can take long

    • Maybe ozb can help, never know.

  • I ordered one in the last deal E570. Took them over a week to process the order. Then the email said expected delivery 25 oct, but I got it yesterday 19 oct. total time under 3 weeks

  • Can someone please advise and disadvantage to adding another hdd to this laptop (i.e. Less battery life or slower processing etc). Also what is the best size hdd to add 1tb, or larger thanks

    • +1

If you are still running Windows off the primary SSD and just adding a HDD for storage then there will be zero change in performance.

HDD size is entirely up to you, although there are sweet spots in prices of HDDs as far as GB per $'s so you should look in to that.

I don't think the extra drive would have any significant effect on battery life but can't be 100% so maybe someone else can confirm.

  • How different are the processor and graphics card for almost extra $300?

  • OMG im so happy
