  For those that purchased the 13" MacBook Pros, any recommendations on what cover/sleeve/bag to get to protect the laptop for travel?
  Also, which multiport adapter is good?
  I've heard of 3rd party and even the original Apple multiport adapters killing USB sticks. Thanks in advance.
  p/s: I just received confirmation from eBay and Australia Post that the item has been shipped, but no tax invoice yet! No estimated delivery date either, crossing my fingers that it will arrive on Friday, so that I've got the weekend to dive into my new purchase!

      Did you receive a tax invoice from them? I got mine too but never received any tax invoice :(

        Yes I received a tax invoice from Myer in an email with the subject heading "Tax Invoice Enclosed - 1 item has been shipped". The tax invoice doesn't look very official as it is part of the email. It is not a pdf attachment. I would have preferred a more official looking tax invoice, as I plan to claim GST from TRS. I received this email at 6pm the day after I ordered, and the item was delivered the following day. Initially I couldn't find the tax invoice and was going to call up Myer, and then I searched the email account linked to my Paypal, and it was there. If you still haven't received it, it would be wise to call up Myer. Good luck!

  Hi - a question for those in the know. My friend bought one of the macbook pros. On the PayPal and Myer receipt, it shows the full amount, however on the eBay receipt it shows the amount minus the discount. Is this correct?

    Yes that is normal, the discount code is funded by eBay so the full amount still shows on PayPal/Myer

  Hi hamza23. I bought 2 ipads from this deal. I wonder how/who should I contact for the tax invoice? The email I received prints on the bottom of the full price before the eBay discount saying 'this is not a tax invoice'.

  Any help is appreciated.

      I have already received the 2 ipads. The email I have still lists the full price, before the discount, and it is from Myer. Also it clearly prints 'This is not a tax invoice' just below the price. Do I have to wait till Monday for them to send a separate tax invoice? I only received it on Friday since I live in WA.

  Can anyone confirm that they have received a tax invoice from Myer?
  I have got my MBP but still not yet got the tax invoice :(
  I have contacted them and they hesitate to send me another one and insisted that "your tax invoice is emailed to you once your item is shipped".
  But I have never received anything, I have even checked my junk box and bin. Nothing found :(

      I have only got the confirmation email but not the invoice.
      they said it is the email with the tracking number but I have only got AusPost email in regards to the tracking number.
      I am 100% sure I have never received anything, I have checked everywhere.
      I dont think they will send me another one, but they should right? :(

      Well I didn't have any pickup choice when I purchased mine.

      It's fine, not a big deal, water under the bridge now. Myer is still a good retailer IMO. I've been using them for years and generally happy with the services.

        If you could wait then wait until JBHifi got 10% on Macs (they do it a few times every year), then ask Officeworks to price beat 5% further.

        I haven't purchased anything from international seller on Ebay so I can't tell. For a high price ticket item I prefer buying domestically.

  Bought a 64GB Space Gray iPad Pro on Thursday night. Arrived today.

  Coming from the 12.9" iPad Pro, this thing is so thin and light! In landscape, it's identical in height (16cm) to my 12" Macbook screen. Perfect secondary monitor for travel using Duet Display or the new Luna Display which has just been kickstarted. Considering the weight of both amounts to the weight of a regular 13" laptop; amazing.

    Assuming you've bought something over $300 in value (can be total as well), take the item you've bought (along with the tax invoice) to the TRS counter at the airport. You'll need to have a boarding pass and preferably a debit or credit card for the refund. It will take up to 60 days to get your refund. Just make sure if you're bringing the item back that it's not over $900 in value.

      How are they supposed to know if you bring it back? Say I buy X worth $1000, I bring it with me on holiday, claim TRS and return a week or two later?

        They don't. But they do have a record of your TRS claim, so you might get flagged for inspection.
