Missing nfc holding me back on this one.. otherwise a very good phone..

No Band 28. Might be an issue if you're on the Telstra or Optus networks

    • Or Vodafone. I have no band 28 and phone is only good for cities, not smaller country towns.

I don't think your Vodafone reception issues would be related to lack of B28 on your phone as Vodafone doesn't use B28.

See the 4G bands listed on Vodafone tab on the following page: https://oztowers.com.au/Bands

  • I got one from DWI, its not a bad phone, very quick and smooth. its been updated to October security update.

  • I ordered a mi6 on Optus. I dont think that has band 28 is this an issue?

    • Yes I don't think the Mi6 has band 28. On Optus and Telstra this may mean less than optimal 4G coverage, although it may vary depending on your location.

Generally speaking, if you're on Telstra or Optus, the recommendation would be to go for a phone that supports B28.

    code has expired already

  • I posted a deal for the mi5x a few days ago, same specs but runs miui can be flashed to MIA1 rom too!

I've been on a redmi note 2 with MIUI so I wanted the ability to have either roms :)

  • any chance they'll restock the code or unlikely?

    • code is back working on all colours

I would rather pay more to make sure that order is actually SHIPPED. As gearbest is very good to take money but they do everything in order to not send the product. You will be very lucky to receive a refund.

    • I ordered a Xiaomi note 4x last month and received it no problem. Had a tracking number and was able to track it to the post office.

  • Honestly, Don't buy from Gearbest, I ordered last month for mobile they didn't dispatch till 19 days and no comunication nor response at last I got my refund from Paypal after another 12 days.

Very bad service, better to buy from some other reputed online store

    • Shopping square took two years to send me a memory card. Luckily gb have been good to me so far

      • You are a very patient person. I probably would have opened a PayPal dispute, rather than wait 2 years for delivery, lol.

  • Code works again on Pink and Gold models but not black.

  • Expired, no codes working

  • Just ordered one, thanks! You've saved me from jealously eyeing that Pixel 2. This A1 should keep me covered and stop me worrying that my Nexus 6 is getting old.
