    The postage kills it

    • +3

Agree! I need to change my coffee lifestyle once from soy to normal milk to save for their postage fee

  • +2

AU$0.27 if you use Zapals' conversion rate.

Ordered one for $0.27 AUD, thanks.

After registered, unable to login… something wrong??

    • Happened to me as well. Just delete cache on your browser and try logging back in. Worked for me.

  • Worked for me. AUD0.27

  • Keep getting msg "Invalid login or password"
    Well no deal

Possibly being hit hard. I had the full price showing in the tab after adding a $1.33 torch, but the $4.00 was taken off on the final page before commitment, with the full $0.27 postage added on.
I suspect the Chinese government is getting us to smuggle in a self-assembling battle robot one bit at a time - either that or we are contributing to a slow steady drain of capital via Australia post…

Btw these go for $1 on eBay, garbage quality, wouldn't bother using these.
Can't believe you guys slab a $9.36 on it. Lol

    • +13

Oh no. I spent $23.87 on DHL to get it quickly

    • +1

      It's probably tight I'm guessing.

  • Thanks, got one for $0.27 AUD.

  • Thanks, OP.
I was able to order two. Postage cost: a measly 54 cents.

  • Amazing thank you. Ordered 2 from separate accounts I made.
Have people had good experiences with the quality of these sorts of products from Zapals?

    • +2

Looks identical to the ones I purchased from eBay, they work perfectly.

    • +3

      @lars06
I was able to order two from just one account (one silver and one gray).

      • Thanks mate, time to get out of bed

      • Seems like they've cottoned onto this — ordering 2 doesn't work anymore :(

Hopefully when my daughter brings her good for nuffin, fancy Nancy Mac Book around I'll be able to stick a thumb in the… bothersome device.

    • Don't quote me, but these are OTG adapters which I believe are different to standard converters.

      • +2

They're basically the same thing and will do the same job.
I bought a similar one and can confirm.

  • +3

bought one .. in case i might need it in the future.

Don't forget 1c cashback making this deal 26c.

  • got one of this, pretty shitty quality, not recommended

    • Yeah pretty much my concern. Massive pot luck on these i expect.

    • Can you link something that you'd recommend? From my research I couldn't really find any other easy solutions on ebay.

      • Buy a Google Pixel. You get one free in the box.

Ooh, $1200 phone for a $1 adapter. Now that's an Ozbargain.

  • If anyone intends to use this on Macbooks… Don't shit quality USB-C adapters with USB3.0 connected devices causes interference with WiFi, learnt the hard way and bought something of better quality.

    • I believe they can, however I've only had the issue with one specific router, so I believe it's router dependent.

      • I had issues with this USB-C to USB-A hub I got on ebay, it was about $20 still. But still was shit as, everytime I had it plugged in, wifi dropped immediately. It's apparently something known to Intel as well.

  • Thanks OP, will help my Mrs find a charger for her phone.

  • +1

For everyone that is saying these are shit, what alternatives would you recommend? Haven't been able to find anything else reasonably cheap / easy.

    • +1

Ended up getting a pack of these:

      https://www.cablegeek.com.au/shop/cables/usb-type-c/aukey-cb…

      Works great and no interference.

      • What I purchased for my wife's new macbook pro. Works like a charm.

      • Thanks, are these significantly faster (and do you know why? - both say they're USB 3.0) or do they just not interfere with wifi

        • Well I'm not sure if it's significantly faster or not, the deal in this post supports USB3.0 too. The main thing is this one doesn't interfere with wifi so it's more correctly shielded.

  • Can phones transfer at USB 3.0 speeds?

  • +1

Schweettt!!! check ozb (while number 2) and get cheap stuff!

    • Me two!
