That's nice.. I just posted out from TPG to Spintel from the 20$ to a 23.95$ with 5gig. This one looks good. Porting in is consider to be a new customer right?

    • sure is!
I even have my internet with them and could still get the deal

there are some extra costs - $10 sim, $11 port out fee, $20 prepayment (not sure if they still charge it anymore?).

Ah yeah, guess I should have mentioned the $10 sim, the $20 prepayment is for a different type of plan (payg no calls or sms included), and yeah i read the fine print and there is a $11 port out fee. Ill add this info to the post

  • MMS not included.

  • So 50c per MMS to Australian numbers on top of the monthly fee? That could really add up.

    • Fair enough but who MMSes anymore? I thought everyone used Whatsapp or Facebook messenger

      • The people who don't have Whatsapp or use FB Messenger…?

eg. baby boomers and older :D

@WaywardOne: LOL I'm not a baby boomer or anything like that and rarely use Whatsapp (not a heap of people have it that I know) and despise FB Messenger. I don't want to use an app that has to 'load' information from a server, I want to open it and know the messages I have at in my phone, not some server overseas and they don't have to load from anywhere!

          Maybe I'm just weird haha.

      • Heaps of people. Everyone over 30.
My parents don't use data, photos are sent via mms.

      • Me. I refuse to download messenger as it won't stop with the notifications. If it was important they's text/call.

        • You mean you can't turned off notifications in settings?

        • @HandsomeMonkey: Yes, there's no stop only pause.

        • @anastasiastarz:

Not sure what phone you're using but I can completely disabled all application notifications individually with my phone.

        • @HandsomeMonkey: Thanks, I completely forgot you can do it through the phone, as it's just the app settings I was looking at.

    What, mms is not included?
So how much do they cost.

Read above, they are 50 cents. That adds up a bit that it's no deal for me.

I am on TPG and their (voda) reception sucks. Absolutely no reception near Sunshine or Deerpark on vline. Very congested near the great Southern hotel CBD. No reception in patches of Tarneit. They even ate my prepaid topup often while the direct debit was successful and pending So keep an eye on it.
