Yes I opened my Note 8 and it does included a clear case. I actually ordered another case for $17 on ebay but I will keep that as spare ……
Has anyone who ordered online for pickup in store received emails saying product is ready for pickup? I was told by the Bondi Junction store that it will take 4-6 weeks for the stock to arrive! :(

I just opened mine and found the security seal was already cut.
The interesting thing is that this is underneath the shrink wrap.I noticed a scratch on the screen when shining light on it, about 2cm long. I can't feel any groove though.
Should I bring it back for a swap? but are Harvey most likely not going to have any stock?

ok so I just got back from a not so pleasant experience at Harvey norman Castle Hill.
I called up in the morning about the situation and he said to bring it in where they will look at it and sort out a replacement. Obviously they are out of stock from Friday so I knew it would be a few days and he said he would courier the new one once it arrived so I wouldn't have to go back to the store to pick it up.
Got to the store, the tech guy then talked to his boss and came back saying they would need to send it off to samsung first to get assessed and then go from there. I said that was not what was discussed earlier on the phone where he would just organise a replacement. There was no indication how long samsung would take and if they would even replace it at all. He didn't budge so I asked to speak to his boss.
The manager looked at the device which had the scratch and then told the guy to organise a straight swap once new stock arrived.
He then did a bit of paperwork once all that was done, he said they would call when it was ready to pick up. I then questioned why it wouldn't be deliverer by courier when he then chucked a fit about how he just got his "arse raped, batting for me" to his boss and that he won't be getting it couriered over because he might be stuck with the $1000 phone on his desk. So I just left it as that and walked away.

The whole time I was saying it's not the customer's fault. The sticker clearly says "do not accept if seal is broken."
Received email said delivery on the way, will arrive next Wednesday.

No, but I called my local store and was told it would take up to 1 and half weeks. Online sales said to me through chat 2-10 working days. SURELY they will have some more stock in before Christmas!

I asked in the Harvey Norman live chat and the reply was "The Tax invoice is dated when you purchase the item"
