          Depends on the type of case of course. Does with my thinner style ones. The grooves the tablet sits on are fairly deep.

        I have an iPad air 2 which i think is about the same size. it's pretty stable but can be knocked over if you move around a lot. i can't think of a better solution other than those annoying bendy cables that stick to your bedside table which just get annoying after a while.

    Received this today - in case anyone was wondering, this does hold the Nintendo Switch, but the switch is too thick for the cutout on the feet, and therefore does not sit completely against the soft padding (it sits partially against the harder plastic of the stand itself). It works fine, just might leave marks on the Switch, possibly.
