      better not using regular TF card on car DVR. It would burn out very soon. Go for those endurance ones specially designed for car dvr and surveillance camera, like sandisk or transcend.

          With all memory cards if you don't go pulling them out much there isn't going to be much physical damage. More so for the micro sd adapter and card. I tend to just plug the camera in rather than use an sd card reader. These days unless you're pro you probably don't exceed the 128gb easily.

          I would much rather remove the SD card rather than adding extra wear and tear on the MicroSD jack. SD card slots are pretty damn reliable.. I've never had one fail… whilst MicroUSB jacks not so much.

          And to add.. most cameras are still only USB2 these days.. slow transfers.

          @Thrawn: It's not the slots that you have to worry about. It's the SD cards/contacts and the possibility of corruption during transfer when removing or inserting the card.

          USB2 teaches you patience. In today's world, it's not a bad attribute to have. =)

      Yeah, should be fine- depends on how many AAA games you'll download though? They tend to be around 15-25gb per game.
      I leave my memory card solely for indy games really. All the AAA I buy physically.

    I just bought two of these 128GB puppies at US$34 each and also a 64GB at US$19.99. I will sure give them a forensic examination when I receive them. They said expected shipping date was about 16 Dec. If all is good, will be a great deal!!

    BTW, I would never buy SD cards anymore, only microSD as more and more devices will only fit microSD and if you still have an SD device you can always use an adapter. This of course assumes the SD device is still compatible with the microSD specs/standards.
