  • though…. for $22.50 less a month you get 140GB

    Still, good deal.

      Yes but no iPad for $22.50 less. But 100GB of data with the iPad Pro 256GB model for $84.50 a month is a pretty incredible deal considering that model retails for $1600

      • That's a pretty good point. I wonder if this is a sign of a new iPad. The Galaxy S8 is also massively a good deal and we know the S9 is coming soon…

      • $1600 because ipads are ridiculously overpriced

        Your pretty much paying a premium for an extra 2 - 3 inches screen space

        • Yes but Apple products particularly iPhones and iPads hold their value extremely well when compared to other brands so as an ozbargainer who is constantly looking at resale after 12/24 months - Apple products make a lot of sense on a plan

        • @merajaan:
          Previous gen ipads 12.9" have been as low as $720 on ozbargain iirc
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/329087 and $1129 for the 4G

          Anyhow was about to purchase the 12.9 512gb, but after careful consideration and thought, it's just an overpriced luxury that I don't need

          @easternculture: I've found I can sell iPhones and iPads usually a month before the new model is about to come out for a maximum of $150 off the current RRP on eBay. Never lost more than that on a sale of an Apple product including MacBook Pros. Though I keep my items in extremely good condition.

          @merajaan:

          Yep I know. I sold my 3 yr old iPhone 6 for $400 Lol

          But again there is a lot of silly people on eBay.

        • @merajaan: out of interest where do you sell them, eBay fees seem to kill profits these days

          @cubiq4:

          Gumtree

        • @merajaan: plus fees?

        • @cubiq4: I always take advantage of no listing and final value fees which appear to be in abundance at the moment. I've had quite a bit of success on Gumtree as well

      • While the iPad plan has less data, it includes cap free Netflix streaming.

  • Is this the new 120hz refresh rate ipad?

    • +1

      If you look at the ad under features there is a section that says 120hz after the brighter in so many ways heading and just before the multitasking heading

  • 512gb 4g on a 2gig plan at 12.9" it's $1 more than the outright price than from the Apple store.
    Good deal.

  • These deals are good, especially if you want to step up to the 100Gb. The rumours are that the new iPads will look more like the iphone X, in that they will have no button, which means more screen space. I'm just putting this out there for people to cogitate on. It makes me a tad reluctant to get a new toy at this stage.

    • Yeah but I’d bet that it would come with another price increase like the iPhone X did.
      People just lap it up and don’t care about the price it seems

      • Don't look at me, I have an iPhone 6+ and an iPad mini4. However, I will be looking at new phones next year so I will see what is available. An iPad with a bigger screen footprint is attractive, particularly if they can squeeze it into the iPad Mini size.

  • What is the storage size? 512 GB looks like $117 - $18 would be $99 P month

  • Note these prices are for the 64gb version, I would op for the extra $5 per mth for the 128gb.

  • I ordered this deal and still have not received my ipad. My tracking account says that optus is still waiting for the iPad to be delivered to its warehouse. Anyone else have this issue?
