    $398 at VideoPro: https://www.videopro.com.au/p-11185-bose-qc35-ii-quiet-comfo…

Get Harvey Norman to price match them save $26.15 over Myer if you have the Amex

Otherwise Officeworks will price beat VideoPro by 5% to bring it down to $378.1

  • How many were able to take up the Amex offer? I'm. Guessing all were taken up by ozbargainers

    • Each one many times for all their cards.

  • Is the Sony 1000 mx2 better?

    • general consensus is the Sony is not as comfortable and NC is not as good but SQ is better. The difference is marginal though and even more so if you're not an audiophile.

    • as @mit said it isnt comfortable becasue the air cup is a bit smaller than bose. my frined had a bose qc 35 ii and mine is 1000 mx2. we both agreed that sony still won this time

  • Just saying unless you really want noise cancelling these are subpar headphones.

    • What are normal bluetooth around-ear earphones? (under $100?)

The ones I have are wired but were $80. https://en-us.sennheiser.com/headphones-headset-stereo-over-…

Quite comfy, better sound quality then the bose qc 35 imo. Got em from harvey.

        • Question:

Have you owned these bose headphones?

        • -7

@BarginGrabber: My friend let me try em for like a day.

        • @SimpleRoger:

          tbh, 1 day isn't enough.

I remember when I got my 598 cs, the first day I thought they were overrated and not that comfy.

However, after a few days of use I realised they were pretty comfy headphones with decent sound quality.

However, I got those after the bose qc 35 and I feel like thats why perhaps you may feel they weren't as comfy.

I think it's hard to go from a big bulky headphone with big soft padding like the 4.30 to the much smaller bose headphones and be used to it within 1 day (vice versa as well)

In terms of sound quality, obviously, I can't comment on the sound quality because I never had the 4.3.

With my 598cs, I thought the bose sound quality was better (15% better). However, I realised that the bose are twice the price, so I think saying 4.3 is a better value for money headphone is a better way of phrasing it. (Perhaps it was just because I was used to the bose sound at that point?).

Last thing, it is a wireless headphone so no one should make sound quality their main priority. If sound quality is the most important thing, I'd go wired.

EDIT: However in terms of comfy, I'm not a fan of the top padding.

@BarginGrabber: I agree, i would love the qc 35 but honestly just too bloddy expensive.

        • @SimpleRoger:

I agree, they are pretty expensive.

There are definitely better value for money headphones out there.

        • @SimpleRoger: "My friend let me try em for like a day."

          lol.

Cheaper elsewhere. No bargain. Amex cashback/HN pricematch is irrelevant.

    • Learning price match game if super useful, thank you OP

    • Exactly, it has been cheaper before without this Amex cashback/HN pricematch shenanigans.

    • Hey mate, I am looking for one, do you know where I can find cheaper? thanks!

    • +1

Soo sick of hearing about the amex offer hey !

    • where can you get it for less than $325? id like to know

  • +1

Price match with Videopro for $398 + Amex cash back.

    • HN cash back only works on $400 or more purchase so it wont work

      • ask HN to invoice $400 or buy junk for $2?

  • to smokey and pennypaker your comments that you can get them cheaper this person got theirs for $325 all up where on earth do you get them cheaper i dont believe you.

  • also HN nd office works dont match website deals only bricks and mortar shops and advertised prices only i think this deal is the best you can get?

  • well for you information i tried HN and office works today HN will not price match video pro … office works will + 5% off so office works is $380 however the AMEX cash back only applies to a purchase of $400 or over so you cant get the $100 off with their price match so as it stands the best deal is to price match myer at $424.15 then get your $100 off with amex making it $324.15 this is still by far the best deal around unless you know how to beat it let me know.

    • I did price match at HN and got them to invoice $400 for the AMEX cash back

  • Amex as in american express credit card??
I have the bose qc 35 II bkught them from jb hifi fwo months ago, warramty replacement for some jbls i tried but cracked jn forst month… i love my bose, i run a floor sanding and polishing company and with the loud machines they are the best nc ive tested and ive tested about 10 differemt headphones. Sony's are prob that tad better on sound quality and punchier bass but the qc's are better on noise cancellation. Pricey but worth every cent quality from every aspect.
