Probably never - cheapest I ever saw the G900 was $115 (Amazon) and that was just before G903 came out. FWIW I think it's worth the insane prices (but then I would say that since I bought it right!

Users may be interested to know that you can buy a faster SATA SSD and enclosure for much less.
Make sure the enclosure is USB 3.0 or higher and supports/has UASP.
eg Sandisk SSD Plus 256GB $109 + enclosure $14 (MSY)

I have the non-pro version of the one being sold here and it’s already a great drive but $229 is a little steep for me, even if it’s 256GB.
The Samsung T5 is a cracker of a deal at current Amazon pricing, especially for 500GB.
