  Could you please tell me if you reduce stock when a customer adds the product to cart?

  Because I successfully added an item, which is now showing out of stock, to my cart, and it seems I can still proceed to checkout.

    Hey mrhorse - the inventory is updated live aka if someone else checks out with the same item before you, they get the stock allocation. It's all done in real time.
