    • Why couldn't you? It's not a promo code on apple but a store credit at a cheaper value, so it should work (I rage knowing i bought a apple watch a week ago for christmas on GG 10% off)

      • Okay thanks. Just thought Apple might be excluded from gift cards or something.

        • If I can give you my 2cents, I would wait for JB to have an apple discount sell (or price match another store who does) and then use that credit from the gift card. Basically a normal apple sell would be 10% and then you stack 15% off from the gift cards, that being said you would need to have enough gift cardcredit to get the full transaction at 15% off

        • @Bubbleshark: Yeah I want an Apple Watch though and they don’t seem to ever go on sale. Thanks though :)

        • @lars06: Try to price match good guys who are/were doing 10% off apple (I bought my apple watch then) … with a bit of luck you will get it at a fair price

    • Yes. I ordered an Apple Watch. Had to choose delivery option as no store in my state stocks the model I wanted.

  • $50 and $100 cards sold out again, hoping they restock them, was going to grab a bunch to put towards and new pixel 2

  • I can't see any rebel gift cards anymore. Did they already sell out this morning?

  • Thanks - Purchased Kogan Mobile Small 365 day voucher using this deal.

  • I have bought 5 gift cards for jbhifi yesterday but one of them is not working
    I contacted seller
What should i do any suggestions?

    • I contacted seller
What should i do any suggestions?

Wait for the seller to respond.

      • Seller just told me to contact JB, which is pretty shitty. Haven't had time to follow up yet.

        • I have the same problem and got the same response. I initially called Paypal (because that's what the email said to do) who told me to speak with the seller. JB aren't interested as it wasn't purchased through them. Might need to do a return via eBay

        • I had same reply from seller i contacted jb hifi and they said it was blocked because of wrong pin attempts
They asked me to check after 24 hrs or go to store to get new gift card
          S
          Hope that helps

        • @whtsurid12: Thanks. I just copypasted the PIN, so it can't be that. I'll have to do a return on that card probably.

        • @namenotspecified: Thanks Mate. I'll try it in store and then do the same via eBay after I spend the others.

thinking of get another 500. anyone know they ever done more than15% before?

  • +1

Dont know if this has been mentioned before but if you take a $100 electronic JB code instore and get them to transfer it to a $100 physical gift card you get the $10 bonus voucher :) Thats what happened for me

    • +1

good to hear, which mskes it anout 23% off.just worry if it get ozbargained,kb may change the policy who knows. do it now if you can

      • Unless you are planning to buy a lot of small items, having more than 1 coupon is probably not very useful.

    • Lucky you, it states in their fine print that you wont get a $10 voucher if you pay for your giftcard with giftcards.

  • No more Rebel? Typical they removed it as the 20% off sale is tonight!

    • +1

Wow, seems supercheap is gone too just in time for the 20% off sale as well lol.

  • Anyone try to buy Rebel gift cards last night and hasn't received them yet? I bought 3 last night and they still haven't been delivered. When I report to eBay that it hasn't arrived yet, I get the notice that it will arrive on Boxing Day (and I'd bet it will arrive at the END of boxing day). Quite a scam trying to buy gift cards but not having them delivered electronically in time for Boxing Day (or today).

    • I haven't got Rebel cards bought 6pm last night. A JB one bought at 8pm came through last night.
      *****[Just received at noon]*****

    • UPDATE: Just got them now.

  • all $100 cards are gone again.

  • I’m going to jump online and get $1800 worth in a few transactions. Should be ok to use all with one sale in store?

    • Should work fine in-store, but if you'd like to save them some time, you can consolidate the 18 gift cards into 4.

      • lol exactly what i am typing. maybe wait until 100 gc restock

      • how can i consolidate?, just buy gift cards with gift cards?

and i'll wait for $100 ones to come back too lol

        • just buy gift cards with gift cards?

          Yup!

and i'll wait for $100 ones to come back too lol

          Yes… they'll probably frown at 36 gift cards! :)

  • I tried to consolidate but I didnt have any email following one that says they have my order but I havent been charged yet. Its been a pain to do with the $50 cards since the 100 are gone :(

    • will come take 6 hours for mine

    Any more SCA cards?

  • I ordered a SCA card at 7am and still have t received the email. Looks like JB cards were prompt enough from previous posts anyone else got their SCA card in a timely manner?

  • Expiry date on SCA gift cards?

  • $100 JBHIFI gift cards back in stock

    • is it limited to 5 gc per account?
i can't add to my cart. already brought 5 yesterday

      • Yes, 5 GC per eBay account

        • +1

ok so i will need another account.tks

  • Purchased & reedemed for JB $500 gift cards on Sunday. Just found the official gift cards in my Junk email!

    • just created another account and loaded more 500. now waiting for good deals coming before 2116 expiry lol.

  • Anyone tried to get the $10 when buying a $100 gift card with the e-gift card? (Works only in store or also online?)

    • Didn't work for me online. Terms and conditions say not valid if buying giftcard with another giftcard. Only chance you have is instore with a staff member that doesn't know better.

      • think so

      • What if you pay $50 using giftcard, but pay the other $50 using credit card?

    • so has anyone got the extra $10 yet? i tried online redeeming my ebay $100 jb hifi giftcard didn't read the T&C so hoping i get second email with extra $10 but doubting it just got a new email with a different code and pin for $100

  • Looks like JB cards are all sold out?

    • a very successfful promo gains a lot of cash.

    Out of stock now :(

  • I bought 5 cards of 50, I went to a store to merge into one 250 card. They asked for my ID and they did it … I got the 10$ voucher.

I doubt they would let me do all my credit by card of 100 to hit the 10 buck voucher but ho well, it worked.

  • oh god, out of stock….
Why i couldn't proceed to check out using paypal just now?
    this made me really upset!!

  • Goddammit.

  • They have advertised again but at full price.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JB-Hi-Fi-Gift-Card-30-50-or-100-…

  • Here is what we just were able to do - JB Hifi just price matched the current Rebel 20% off sale and used this to buy the Garmin Vivoactive 3 in Slate for $340 :) (Current price $499)

  • hey guys,

is it safe to use amex issued card? any cash advance fee on the purchase?

    • better with direct debit i was told

  • Guys I just opened one $100 JB GC and found the following:

    JB Hi-Fi Terms and Conditions
JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards do not expire and can only be redeemed at a JB Hi-Fi store in Australia or online at www.jbhifi.com.au
JB Hi-Fi will not be liable for lost or stolen gift cards.
This gift card cannot be exchanged for cash. A maximum of 5 gift cards or $500 can be redeemed per order in store and online. For Full Terms and conditions please visit JB Hi-Fi Gift Card Terms

JB Giftcard FAQ only says maximum 5 giftcards for online order. It doesn't mention in store.

Has anyone tried spending more than $500 in store using these giftcards? Thanks!

    • have you not been following this thread?

      • Thanks mate. I thought ozbargainers merging these cards into one because 1) to make sure these digital GC is not a scam and 2) for some reason I thought even after the merge the big $ card are still subject to the t&c…I read the t&c a few times and felt it might still be a bit vague…Maybe I worry too much… Thanks!

    • +1

You could merge all into one and play the guy who got all his gifts as JB gift cards. I doubt they would stop you if you tried to buy a 1000 dollar item in store (they could flatly lose a sale)

      • Thank you and this indeed makes sense!

  • I managed to merge my ecards in two different Jbhifi and get twice the $10 bonus, hope my explanation can help a few who still have some ecards:

A quick recap of my situation and what I bought (I live around 3 JB hifi in Brisbane)

5x30: I read the comments and managed to merge online (the merged cards email was in my spam box)

    5x50: Same as above

5x50: Same as above but didn't go through (bought at 8am but still no confirmation email at 4pm)

5x50: Bought around 11am and since the previous one didn't go through, I was a bit cold in doing online again so I went in store near my work. I asked about how to merge the ecards into one. The clerk asked her manager and gave me the green light, so I got a $250 physical gift card and I didn't even mention the 10 bucks voucher and still got it.

Now the tricky part, after coming back home, I noticed the ecards that haven't been through all day were still not debited (I tried to order a gift card on JB and the code were still active). I went to the JB near home and asked IF I could merge them. That was my error, I got a flat "it works differently, we can't do it". Touched in my Ozbargainer honor (and wallet) I went to the JB the furthest from my place where I haven't been. Then I asked clearly I "WANT" to convert my egift against a physical gift card to give away for Christmas as it's possible to do online but I feared the delivery would take too long. The girl said she needs to check with a manager, the one in charge said "of course no problem". So I got a 250 physical gift card.

Retrospectively, if I knew better, I would have said that I need to make 2 gift cards of 100 and one of 50 ( because I couldn't manage to buy the 100 ecard from ebay and only got the 5x50). So if you are lucky to have some 100 ecards, you could say " I need to gift away some gift card but printing ecard isn't really nice to receive. I saw online it was possible to exchange ecards against gift card, could you make me 5 gift cards of 100?" … I see coming some who have 2000 bucks worth of ecards hahaha Have a try and tell me if it works!!

  • There's 0% chance of this deal coming back soon, right?

    • since they make those card available as normal price. i do not think they will make it back again. also the banner has been removed from the homepage of ebay.

  • Is this a perm promo?

    • More like a Loss Leader to get their feedback up. Only BCF left at a discount from face value.

  • I bought a couple of $50 vouchers for $85.00 now I am waiting for the 20% off blu rays on boxing day as well I'll be using my stack voucher as well

  • +1

Thanks op I managed to get a couple of small ones and got Nintendo eshop cards to buy discounted games. Long live OZB

  • I know I'm a little late to the party…

But, when did the 15% off discount actually reflect on the cards?

I looked at the JB cards yesterday and they were normal price… is it after they've been added to the cart that they were discounted?
I didn't see any "15% Off Cards" banner or anything…

    • They were on ebay not jb hifi directly. They are out of stock now.

  • What happened no stock?’usually gets restocked

  • JB wouldn't accept the gift cards in store unless I physically printed them out and brought it up on my phone. I guess having the gift card number and pin isn't enough? First time it's happened.

    • +3

Those hippies are acting like dicks. There should be no need to print out the gift card to redeem it in-store.

      • +2

The employee serving me wasn't too bad but he tapped the shoulder of I assume the manager and he didn't even turn around and just said a quick "nope". Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I left and went back today with printed out gift cards and brought my phone as back up just in case. Was a huge waste of my time having to come back. How is using them online and in store any different? Having to bring in the physical card or a print out doesn't make much sense.

        • +3

Give it some time and Amazon will teach them a lesson. When that happens I will walk in such stores for checking the item I want to buy.

JB stores are known for giving silly excuses like stock is mixed up when you try asking them price match. They claim they don't do pricing on phone. Really they need to get their act together before they disappear like DSE, Borders, Masters etc.

Gone are the days when I used to get good bargains at these stores. Nowadays I lookout only for head office deals that these clowns can't refuse.

        • we paid off an x with the jb gift cards on the phone. no any issues.

        • +1

@aec: They told me that don't take orders over the phone, they are not consistent with their own company policies.

  • Nooo the links I received to the gift cards don't work any more and I didn't write down the codes and PINs. Does this mean someone hacked my gift cards?

I messaged the seller to say that I have not received the items as the links don't work.

    • Alright they sent me the vouchers again, and the new links work.
