      • Da (profanity). Tried many times the past hour without success. Now the code's not working =((((((((((((

    • Yep me too with ovens and dishwashers.

      • If you can’t add to cart try pressing BUY IT NOW should take you to payment checkout, worked for me, downside can’t put multiple items in one transaction

        • Its working now

  • Would a purchase now be valid for 30 day price guarantee?
If TGG drops the price for a TV on Boxing day can I get the Difference back?

    • +2

No ebay is separate to stores.

    • Isn’t the 30 day price guarantee only against their competitors’ prices and not their own price?

    • TGG will not match e-bay price. They will match it against their original price and then compare.

JBL bluetooth headphones for $36 (pickup)…not bad

    • Pick up at local TGG, try it on, nice headphone for the price. Thanks.@s0805

  • i just bought from harvey over the weeked would not go lover than 2350..

Will they refund me the difference, or harvey's dont give a toss once you paid?

    • Doubt they'd refund the difference, you could always try though! Otherwise, if you have the cash, you could buy here then return it to HN.

    • +1

In same situation. Bought a fridge for 1236 yesterday at HN after waiting a few weeks for this deal but nothing…now this deal shows up as 1160. so sad, but am moving on.

OzBargainer remorse — the struggle is real! Happened to me last Xmas with a TV from JB also. Nek minut… :(

        • It really sucks… am thinking of all the things I could have bought, like 2 more Google minis. Lol.

  • Anyone had any luck purchasing a kindle paperwhite? I'm getting the message 'This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired.'

    • +1

I just bought one successfully. Did click & collect.

    • +1

I also get the same error message.

      • After trying all morning I finally got it to work, had to select C&C and pick up from a large store.

        • +1

Cheers lads just used your advice and managed to get the 55" from frankston click and collect.

    • +2

Add to cart would not work for me, delivery or C&C, but Buy Now worked and still gave the option to add the code in.

      • Thanks .Buy it now worked for me.

  • No, I just bought the Hero5 Black yesterday for $397 :(

    • Buy this one, then return it under the old receipt! Worth it for the difference.

      • I don't think you can get a refund because you found it cheaper somewhere else, can you?

        • You can get a 30 day change of my refund, this is brand new so you could return it under the more expensive receipt.

  • BUt no iphone…….

    • yeah none…

  • The iPod touch is a decent deal.

    • Any good deal for 128GB ipad?

  • Also getting an error when attempting to get the Kindle on delivery.
'This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired.'

    • Try Click and collect, seems to be working for some people

  • Am not I correct this could be combined with the eBay gift card deal for a further 15%?

    • I don't believe the 'Ebay' gift card is 15% off.

      • +1

        I see, thanks

  • Just curious if anyone picked up TGG's portable air cons. are there any of them energy efficient and less noisy? Thanks

    • See this comment. The Olympia might be worth a look therefore, not sure about the others but don't consider the $699 Rinnai as you can get it for half the price rebadged as a Vostok from Kogan

  • Has anyone actually successfully purchased the OLED 65"?

I'm in a hostel overseas using a VPN to an Australian server and still can't pay. I can add to cart and checkout and apply the coupon but it errors when I go to confirm.

    Thanks.

Edit - it appears out of stock on the mobile site. I'm guessing it's simply not available full stop?

    • +1

Unfortunately I'm getting the same error as those above (on different items), "This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired."

      • Thanks - glad to know it's not just me!

        • I had this too, finally got Click and Collect to work for me.

        • @Rorschach: how did you get it to work? Just kept re-clicking? I'm having the same error with the kindles.

      • Now getting "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." so it looks like that error is just "out of stock" :(

  • Any recommendations on French Door Fridges?

    • +2

I'd stay away from the Samsung French door fridges with ice makers - I've been impressed by all other Samsung products I've owned but the fridge isn't good (or rather the fridge and drawer parts are good, and the freezer is good- but the ice-maker is badly designed and mine is constantly getting jammed with ice and needs a hairdryer session at least once a month to fix. Such a pain in the arse, I hate it)

      • +1

I have the same problem with my Samsung French door fridge. Now the fan in the fridge is icing up as well as the ice maker. I cleared it a week ago and it started again this morning. GRRRR

        • +1

Yes common problems with Samsung frenchies. They are lemons. See product review for multiple reports

        • Cheers for the advice/warning guys. Had shortlisted the samsung 719Ltr (https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/samsung-719l-french-door-refr…) and the LG 712Ltr (https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-712l-french-door-refrigera…) but will steer clear of the Samsung

        • +1

@spy: I should have just believed the bad reviews and stayed away (though it gets tiring trying to find a fridge that doesn't have any/many) and went with the Samsung because hell it looks nice, all their other products are solid, the drawer part seemed cool (it is) and some friends said theirs was really good - but later on I found out they had never actually plumbed theirs in (and STILL have not) and were just basing their praise on the fridge. Ughhhhhh 😂😭😣

        • +1

          @Surge86: LG by elimination.

        • Thanks anyway fellas but The GG Asshats raised the price of the LG by $300 overnight. Poor form! As insignificant as it will be to them, ill def purchase it elsewhere.

    • https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-HR6FDFF630S-630L-Frenc… This is what I bought. Has good reviews. $1166.4 + 50.14 delivery.

  • Boo…. no sony X9400E

  • Any recommended 600mm electric wall ovens?

Bosch dishwasher - This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired
Why bother having a sale if you are not prepared to supply the items you advertise Good Guys?

  • Anyone know if this can used in conjunction with the “Click and Collect for Store Credit” promotion they are running at the moment?

Assuming you would have to purchase goods on the Good Guys website rather than the eBay store to be eligible for the store credit vouchers.

    • No that’s for buying direct.

  • I'm looking to get a Galaxy S8 - do I get an Australian tax invoice if I buy through the TGG eBay store? Does it get emailed to me or shipped with the package?

just in case this is the last interaction on one of your finds (but probably not), have a safe Christmas mate. because of you, i saved enough money to feed my 2yo for 3 weeks. lol have a good one!

        • Lol I'm very glad to hear that too, I'm sure you'll probably see another post, but have a safe and awesome xmas as well!

        • @doweyy: ye he didn't come with a manual, so i assumed 3 weeks a year should suffice.

        • @andrgram:

If only kids came with manuals, the world would be an easier place lol

    • looking to do the same but hesitating at the price (was $90 less last month in binglee/ebay promotion) - saying that they have upped their price so if it went on sale at 20%, current good guys would still be better…….. ooooh the dilemma!

  • Can i directly go to store and buy there with same discount?

    • +2

Nope, you have to go through eBay. You can choose pickup.

    • Yea the sales people at Good Guys get upset and walk away when you mention you're using the 20% ebay discount and are just there to browse the item.

  • Good bargain!
Combine with amex paypal $20 cashback to get more discount!

  • Was hoping for a deal on the B7 after seeing the Panasonic a few days ago. But this is too soon. I'm not ready to part with $2k yet…

    • Hold off a bit, it will probably get cheaper somehow lol seeing the recent price drops and deals.

      • I heard a while ago that OLED 'should' be cheaper to manufacture than LCD, don't ask me how but it was one of those peculiarities that OLED is still more expensive because they're a newer product and have all the bells and whistles. Eventually yeah OLED will drop and drop. Prob to the point where Samsung & others who aren't making big OLED screens might be competing (hopefully) with LCD makers and thus prices will drop more. It's promising to see OLED's at the near sub-$2000 mark already, very promising.

      • Glad I did. Just saw a deal on the Hisense 55N7. I know OLED is the more desirable technology right now but is it worth double the price?

  • Might be a silly question, but is there any difference with buying from their eBay store or direct from their online or in-store? Is there less warranty coverage or anything else I should be looking at?

  • Was hesitating about buying a 55 B7T, if JB drops its OLED TVs by 20%, then that 15% off JB GC could do the work well then.

  • Kindle purchased. First time using a Kindle, wish me luck!

  • I bought a few Linden 48" LCD Tv's for $360 last week after they had 10% off on their website. With this new sale they are even cheaper, $320. Is it possible to get a refund on the difference? I bought from their store and this is through EBay so I understand they are different.
Can I return the unopened Tv's and repurchase them through EBay? Or can I use my 28 degrees buyer protection?

  • YAY I was looking to get a Kindle - thats a good deal! Just put in an order for click and collect… chose the white one by mistake oops lol… cant complain tho!!!

  • Click & collect on the black kindle still gives me an qty error :(. Gonna try C&C with other stores or the white now.

Edit: C&C at another store worked. Hooray. Just means I'll be driving 40mins return - now thinking up other things to do out Nunawading, Melbourne direction. Lol

  • -4

Sorry to neg it, but I've tried to buy a Kindle cover, and the Google Wifi mesh (both trying C&C and delivery) and neither works.

    • +2

Must be a geo-location issue, try live chat eBay and see what they say about it.

      • -1

Ok thanks for the advice. I will

        • try buying them separately, i had issue i couldnt add anything to cart, but if I bought them individually by pressing "buy it now" then I could buy it, problem iwth that is it eats up your 3 transactions looks like been done on purpose

        • @RogueWolf: Yeah, i was trying separately. I tried adding to cart, and buy it now. Neither worked. Ebay live chat said that their listings show the items aren't available anymore, even though they come up as in stock. I just gave up and decided to go have lunch instead :)

        • @Fybre: yeah they told me the same excuse on some other items but I was able to buy it when I pressed 'buy it now" … lunch sounds like a good option lol .. try again later

      • I got them on live chat, and they are saying the items are no longer available, even though they are showing as available when choosing click and collect. Go figure

    • I revoked my neg anyway, since it seems to be just me and the products that I wanted that aren't available :)
