    Serious question - how hard would one of these be to install? Would you need a plumber or could you easily DIY?

    Parents are asian so they would definitely love something like this. These toilet seats are quite standard everywhere in Asia!

      Pretty easy to install, providing that you have the basic tools.

      Great for those who have hemorrhoids, or those with sensitive skin, or those who are obsessive with cleanliness.

      I used to have a full function but cheap one and it stopped working after over five years. Got it on ebay for $120 and it was the best purchase ever.

      I just bought this Xiaomi brand one last night.

      I believe that precision is what these bidets offer, compare to those just spray cold water which could be bought for under $20.

      Accidents will happen at first, but with practice, you would not want to go for number 2 anywhere else but at home

    This reminds me of a thing a few years ago in someone's house. I would say it is the English who invented bidet. This toilet bowl had water in the middle which was quite deep. When a user would sit on it and did a dump, dump would go down and water would go up 'cleaning' the user's cheeks. Needless to say, it didn't do very good cleaning, but hey it was a good start…
