  • I just bought it for 28 yesterday with GearBite goddammit.

  • Not sure it includes a cable

    • +1

it does, it comes with a small ~15cm cable, micro usb from memory

  • bought one last time this deal was on, been good so far except for a high pitched noise when charging my phone from it. Is this normal?

    • +4

Nope. I have found that these chargers are pretty good and have had no issues with them whatsoever.

    • Coil whine from the buck/boost driver?

    • Mine makes no noise at all. Did u get a dud perhaps?

    • Not normal at all.

    • +1

Also bought 2 last time the deal was on. Still hasnt been delivered. Thanks for reminding me deal, i shall message them on ebay.

With regards to noise mine definitely makes no noise at all.

  • I get that same noise and from the same seller, i googled the noise and its some type of coil winding up and normal. Really good value for money these.

  • Is this QC?

  • Thanks OP - I would have preferred the pro with QC3 but the price is just a bit too rich.

  • +1

The link just takes me to ebay.com.au

  • Thank you good buy!

  • Great powerbank, i like to buy the silicon cases with them too.

  • never owned a powerbank before, any feedback on how many full charges you can do on an iphone 6-7?

    • 10,000 mAh / (iphone battery capacity) mAh = Your answer

      • +1

That's not true, you lose some power in the conversion from battery voltage to 5v then back down to battery voltage. At 5V you actually get 6900mah output according to the Xiaomi website.

        • -4

Well then 6,900 / phone capacity.
Nobody here cares about the power losses in the buck/boost converter. It's absolutely minimal. There's losses in your cable and tin plated connectors and even more losses in your phone. I don't think anyone cares about that either from a regular consumer point of view.

I actually think more people should be worried about the 6900mAh and the false advertising.

        • @Blitzfx:

Not false as the device itself advertises itself as 10000 mAH @ 3.85V and 6900 mAH @ 5V.

    • +2

Charges an iphone 6 about 3.7 times according to their tests http://www.mi.com/sg/battery2/

    • thanks guys, not really good with tech stuff… will order one..(I would have been happy with even just one full charge) :-)

    • +2

      Mine charges 3 times roughly.

  • Thanks op. Got one

  • +4

Got the 20,000mAh unit for $41.56.

  • cheers op purchased another

  • Anybody know if these are suitable to power the Xiaomi Xiaofang/Dafang camera's and if so how long it would last?

    • +1

Did try that also, not too long until I realized it was dead.probably 4 hours or so

      • Ah bugger. Thanks for that

  • Thanks, OP!

  • Never owned any powerbank, this will be my first. Hope this make my life easier. Thanks OP.

    • They are great to have if when you charge your phone you like to be mobile. Beats being stuck to the wall.

  • +1

I realised on a recent overseas trip why these are a must, especially if you use your phone as a camera, video camera, gps, researching train scheds, Facebook, texting, music player, and lastly, to make voice calls :-p

  • at least 60 more were sold after I bought at 7pm. Let see how long it will last before it goes out of stock.

    • OUT OF STOCK :(

      • Yep!

        • shipping from china - probs gets confiscated at customs

      • Back in stock now FYI.

        • out of stock, very quick, was about to buy another one when there was 5 left, but gone in less than 3 min!

        • @htc:

I managed to get a black one?

        • @89tnp:

When I was at ebay, only 5 silver ones left. I was hesitant to get one, the number started to decrease to 3 left. When I decided to get one, it is already out of stock.

        • @89tnp:
Just checked, stock return at 9pm. I got myself a black one. So I got one of each colour:)

  • Mine was shipped this morning :)

  • Back in stock…Thanks OP.

  • The 2 for $20 deal from last August makes me hesitant to pull the trigger

    • Link?

      • +1
        • Thanks, was thinking two for $20 was a bit unbelievable

        • @PMmeYourEneloops:

Thanks, just saw your message. I bought two already. Now it is out of stock. Still in high demand despite price!

  • Thanks OP, I rely on one of these for work and have had it over a year now so it's nice to have a backup/spare on the way :>

  • The only thing I don't really like about these things is how sharp the edges are. Ideally it would come with the condom

  • Out of stock!

  • +1

    Out of stock

  • Let see how many times they will restock it. I think they have restock at least 4 times.

  • Available again

  • Thanks OP and updaters!

  • I think this is a clever way of marketing, let it sold out and restock again, that will make it sell faster and sell more.

  • +1

    Sold out while at checkout.

  • ¥79 in XIAOMI CHINA, will grab one in next trip

  • Out of stock

  • This is a great price, but I still think being able to get the 20000MaH with QC3 for about $40 is a better deal, especially with how light & small they've made it!

  • Sold out again, damn.

  • Just receive mine today. Fast delivery. Bought on 16th 7pm. Thanks op.

  • Out of stock again!

  • +1

bought and received mine. Packaged in very thin envelope without any sort of padding. The product arrived dented. Poor form.

    • Same with mine - terrible way to send an electronic item.

    • Mine had a layer of bubble wrap. No problems.

  • Got mine today. Arrived OK. Product code is genuine.

  • Still haven't received mine

  • Arrived (in Vic from NSW). No bubble wrap but appears good.

  • are these suitable to use for a dash cams parking mode .. motion mode ?

how are they if left in the car heat wise .. ?
