How item would I use this?

    • +18

      Yes

    • This how i would use item!

    • It is do good job, never bad.

  • Am I right in thinking that even their registered mail is untrackable?

They sent me a tracking number for a purchase but I've no idea who its been sent with.

Auspost doesn't recognise the tracking number

    • +1

Last time I bought from Gearbest this tracking site worked: http://www.sky56.cn/english/track/index

      • +3

I use https://www.parcelmonitor.com can track all deliveries from all companies

      • Sorry, I'm having trouble leaving answers.

Neither tracking offering seems to work for me.

Thank you for the suggestions AdrianW and xev

        • It may take a few days before it shows up. Give it another go next week.

        • @AdrianW:
I got an email on the 22nd of Dec to say it was on its way.
Sorry I paid for the tracking given that it appears not to work.
Ah well, we live and learn.

  • Coupon code has expired

    • Don’t think this is valid reason to neg.

      • I mis-clicked the vote while scrolling, is there anyway to cancel the neg vote?

        • +1

There’s a revoke negative vote somewhere… check the votes tab perhaps.

        • click on 'votes' under the title

        • +2

@xev: Thanks. it'd be better if the code lasted abit longer, but didn't really meant to neg vote :)

        • +3

Codes normally have a limited number of items available, in this case over 400 people clicked through in 30 mins

      • +2

I agree, instead up negging an expired deal use the report button under listing to advise deal has expired

    • Report the deal then, don’t neg.

  • Expired 😐

  • Expired already?

  • Was tempted to buy one, but am waiting for a Wowstick to be delivered so must force myself to say no!

  • +2

Bugger! Expired pretty quick - will see if i can sort something with the Rep ;)

    • any luck with the rep?

      • Sent a message but will have to wait for her to get back to me

        • Who's the rep?

        • @rob359:

Just search for gearbest and send a private message - it's Sunny ;)

        • any updates?

  • +2

Do I need the gateway to use this?

    • +1

      Ofcourse

      • +1

oh, and does it work with google home?

        • +1

Sure, you can use flathead to pry it open

        • +1

@rob359: Thank you for completing the mandatory Xiaomi questionnaire. You have been awarded: 1 Zigbee.

        • @giovannip: I wouldn't wanna lose my ozb membership

  • +2

Hate these BS codes thatblast for 25 mins or for 20 items etc.

Always done purely for publicity and by the litb, banggood and gearbest reps.

    • +3

I've picked up heaps of stuff from them so I can't complain - It does suck when you miss out but nabbing them is half the fun ;)

      • +3

I agree, with both of you. They're obviously gaming the system and doing limited volume codes keeps them on the front page here.

    • +2

ya whinger, if you're fast it works, if you're slow it doesn't.

      • Perhaps a rep will see my whinge and offer us more with some decent time limit/qty.

We are loayl and deserve to be rewarded

        • My comment from above:

Codes normally have a limited number of items available, in this case over 400 people clicked through in 30 mins

      • I'd argue it's not really a question of being fast, but lucky. Unless of course you like to spend all day hitting the refresh button on the ozbargain page.

    • Ozb rule number 1: buy first…anything else later (ask, research, think, etc.) Lol

      • Pretty much me today. Got a HomeBridge setup going to allow various devices to work with HomeKit on my iPhone. Saw the door sensors today while in line for pizza at the Costco cafeteria so ordered two while waiting assuming I could integrate them with HomeKit. Looked into it after ordering and realised I had to buy a gateway so had to go back to get that and more than doubled the order price in the process.

Off well. Still cheaper than other door sensors and now I have a gateway coming I’ll be able to support a bunch of other bits and pieces.

  • +1

    Are these magnetic bits?

    • yes

  • +1

    Good job!

  • oh damns i need this and i missed out

    any more with code please?
