If you are referring to the lights, yeah they are a bit tacky, but they can be turned off. Apart from that, speaker looks pretty good and more importantly sounds pretty good for the price.

Does, has anyone bought this and found that the Bluetooth audio sync is off for iOS? I’ve heard that JBL gear is meant to be better for that (audio sync over Bluetooth; as in there’s a delay when say someone is talking in a movie and then the audio) but I can’t understand why JBL would be better when Bluetooth I thought would be a standard sort of thing?
