  • Darn it Samsung 75" MU6100 is not part of the deal, I've been eying on it for a while

  • anyone knows if I can order now and get it delivered in the future?

EDIT: N7 50" VS the X8000E from Sony?

  • +1

Wondering if I should hold off to see if the 65x9000e drops a bit more in price

  • Hisense N7 ULED 50" or Sony KD49X8000E for ps4 pro gaming and online HD movies guys?

    • Got the 50N7 on an earlier deal and Ps4 pro looks great on it. YouTube and Netflix buttons on the remote are a bonus and I prefer to use those apps over my Ps4 which I never did on my old Sony.
Make sure you put the PS4 pro in hdmi 1 or 2 if you get the hisense as it allows for "enhanced" hdmi 2.0

  • Did anyone manage to get the Q7 for 2399 oir did JB cancel all orders?

  • shame about the Q7.. thought the price was too good!

  • N7 the best value and best allround TV I have owned by miles!!

  • Hows N7 compared to my panasonic ST50 Plasma Tv? Is it time for me to upgrade?

    • -1

Only 4k (games, 4k movies) content will look better on a N7. Everything else will be better on your plasma.

  • seems like TGG have matched it and beaten it by $1. Now only if they put the same price on their ebay store…

    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/hisense-65-inches164cm-uhd-le…

    • boom, price now on their ebay store. Prefer TGG compared to HN and their 10% cards. Hardly ever purchase from HN anyway.

  • Sorry to add to the 1000 questions on what TV to buy. Bought a Samsung 55inch 8000 series 12 months ago for $2k but straight away wished I'd bought a 65inch.

My inlaws are looking at buying a spare room TV and I suggested they take my Samsung off my hands for ~800 and I'll invest in a 65inch.

Question is, what 65inch is comparable to the 8000 series and around low $2k? The only thing I didn't like about the Sammy is the bad viewing angle. Great TV apart from that.

    • +4

You actually made money from your inlaws?

Someone give this man a medal.

      • Hahaha hats off to him! :)

      • Hmmm Ozbargain maths at it's best LOL. $2k TV being sold to family for $800 for a TV less than 12months old. Profit? LOL

Was really a Win-Win. Unless you can show a better 55inch TV than a Sammy 8000 series for $800?

        • +1

          Still that's pretty good.

Other inlaws I know would expect to be given the TV for free lol

          @montorola:

You picked the wrong family :)

        • +1

@montorola: yeah i passed down a 55" samsung to my inlaws and i can't even ask a dollar for it. I might get negative points for doing as such. :)

Wondering if I should pay $1598 for TCL 70C2US or Hisense N7 65?

Harvey Norman have matched pricing and they also give 10% in store vouchers. Today is TV buying day!

    • Awesome… thanks.

  • +2

Harvey Norman have price matched on Hisense n7 55" and it comes with the 10% store gift card on top of that. Awesome! https://www.harveynorman.com.au/hisense-55-n7-4k-ultra-hd-le…

  • Anybody have a reason for me to go the 75N7 over the 75N5 thats worth the $700 price difference?

    • 100hz

  • Anyone have experience or knowledge on the Hisense N6 43"? Was going to get the Sony X9000E 49" but the Hisense looks good for half the price. The TV is for bedroom since my Samsung died on me and they don't make 32" 4K TV's

  • Must be why the guy was pushing my wife to purchase a display model 65N5 for $800, knowing this was coming the next day. Worked out ok for us as they ended up giving us a brand new 65N5 for the same price.

  • New TV getting done today. Hisense 65N8 through HN with that 10% cash back in rewards cards.

  • anyone want to help me with difference between n6 and n7 series?

    • hdr (uled technology) and higher refresh rate (100-120hz)

  • Hi. Is the 65" n7 considerably better than the 65" n5? I'm in the market for 65 but it's $600 more. Mostly watch Netflix fta blu Ray and some xbox

  • Hmmm Hisense N7 75inch for $2800 or Panasonic OLED 65inch for $3580 …. any votes?

    • OLED all the way.

      • yeh im going to pull the trigger .. lol only fitting that my 42inch pana plasma gets replaced by a Pana Oled tv…just wish they had longer warranties ..

        • Yeah I went from plasma to OLED too. I couldn't bring myself to buy an LCD.

        • +1

@Ryballs: i know… i kept waiting but the $3600 price for 65" was too good, i got it from HN though on interest free and will get $360 in vouchers … (before anyone crucifies me i pay off my interest free very quickly and with 3 kids and mortgage i dont have 3.6k just sitting around..lol)

Choice has just done an article on TVs.
Anyone read what it found out and which recomendation it made?

  • +1

Thank you very much for posting this, I got a succesful price guarantee claim through TGG. Was getting a little annoyed seeing the TV I just bought become immediately cheaper just after purchase.

  • Whats the best 65" other than Hisense around $2000? Prefer to go big name brand as my Samsung is still going after 7 years.

  • So the samsung MU6100 43" is $798 - though was on sale for $598 back in December.

Any secret squirrel tricks to get this price?

  • Picked up the Sony KD65X9300E for $2590 with discounted gift cards. Stoked.

Hey guys, JB and TGG has the TCL 70C2US for 1595 each, any body with good experiences with this ?
Also Hisense N7 65" is same price at 1595 + 10% store credit at HN which will make this $1435/-
However the first one seems a little bigger with better sound output, any feedback from TCL 70C2us owners please.

    Thanks

  • Just picked up a 75n7 from North Ryde HN
My first 4 figure purchase due to OzBargain - thanks guys ;)

They offered me an extra 4 years of 'replacement' cover for an extra $459 (in addition to regular 3 year warranty) - was almost temped to go for it. Anyone have thoughts on its value? I almost never get extended 'waranty'

    • Looks too costly. I was offered $297 for 4 years extra cover for the Samsung Q7F (QLED) 55" last week at Harvey Norman in VIC.

      • yeah - cost is all dependant on the cost of the item you are purchasing

  • You can buy JB hifi gift cards with 5% discounted Woolies wish cards, can't you? So that'd be a 5% discount on top?

  • this is such a shitty situation..
I bought the panasonic 75" from videopro a few weeks ago, it was shipped last week, and should have turned up last friday, instead of turning up at my place, it arrived in canberra (I am in sydney).
TNT are now saying they can not locate it (my guess is that it has been stolen somewhere along the way)

I can buy the TV from JB now for the same price (and it hasnt been transported halfway across the country)… but, by the time I chase up video pro (who will no doubt chase up TNT) and get a refund this deal will be over.

I dont really want to go to JB and buy it incase if TNT can find mine, then I would be left with 2 TVs

    • Could you just return the one from JB if you bought it? Or do you need a good reason?

      • organizing transportation for a 75" tv to be returned.

  • Just posted the Hisense N7 75" for $2515

Bought the Sony X80E 55" yesterday from JB HIFI, paid $1075. Turned up today to pick it up and they had sold my TV so they gave me the X90E 55" for the same price. Total score!

    • Hey barrob701

That is an amazing price for Sony x90. Pls can you share the receipt. Been looking for a tv.
