    I've been waiting for a while on this. And have also emailed them a few times. I was really happy after seeing this post and went to check all the bloody folders and guess what. Still no emails.

      Yes you can. However, like me, you could be in for a very long wait. I have had a paid monthly pass since mid 2017 and am still waiting for an annual pass offer.

      I would dearly love to know what the criteria is for these "targeted" offers. Anyone in the know?

        I got the offer and will be taking it up. I consider it Netflix from my home Server (well that is how I'll be marketing it to my wife). :-)

        As for my Plex activity, I have given them almost NOTHING. I paid for Plex pass monthly for 2 months when I was overseas on holidays in the last 12 months and apart from that, they have made nothing else from me.

        Maybe they know that you will pay up and so will try to NOT target you with this offer?

        I think it’s relatively random. I was a member but not a subscriber for a long time until I got mine.

        I’d be very interested to know whether having an active subscription would rule you out also. Seems a bad move to take people willing to pay for a subscription off it to me.

        Maybe one way to improve your odds is to just create multiple free accounts. If it is random it’ll approve your odds, and having had a subscription certainly isn’t a requirement.

          Thanks for that.. Me thinks in the normal course of events it is just another example of the "Australia Tax" we get sucked into, however friends in the US are also being subject to the same randomness… (I friend had an inactive membership but no subscription for 5 years and received an offer before Christmas).

          May they are using some kind of algorithm that determines a multitude of factors. I do have cookie management and ad blockers features in my browser (Ghostery) which may lock out any tracking by Plex), However my Plex (server and clients) are on Android devices and not me pc. Maybe I should install on my PC and see what happens… :)

    I got the email, my offer is $74.99. Perhaps it is based on the original cost of full membership at the time you sign up?

    Not sure if it’s worth that much, still tossing up as to if I should purchase it.

        I had an old account, which I haven't used for years and when I saw the deal back in Dec, I logged in & enabled email subscriptions. I got the email this time. So maybe just hang on for the net round of offers.

    For those asking for spare codes, it doesn't look like they can be used by another person. The email from Plex says: "This code is for your account only and can be used once."

    Are the extra features worth it? Currently using the free version happily and not sure if the paid features are worth paying.

      I find the most useful feature is enabling downloading of content from a server to a mobile device. I know there's free apps out there that do this, but none as super easy as this.

      Yes if you are recording your TV programs and they keep adding premium features to PlexPass members-only.

      For me, I love the sync feature. Very easy to keep your phone sync with your playlists.

      Also, support the devs for the superb job they are doing to keep Plex awesome.

      I just got it and did a quick test download of a TV show to my mobile. I did it using the Plex Web App and once the download finished, my iPhone asked me if I wanted to save the file to "Infuse" my default app or "another app". I just added it to Infuse as that is me preferred one.

      Worked a treat by the way and as it was saved onto Infuse, I can also easily Airshare it to other apple iDevice users. I assume something similar is possible for Android.

      I'll see how it goes with the Plex app later but so far it meets my minimum requirement of imitating Netflix's ability to download TV shows. Next will be testing out live TV as I have a TV receiver attached to the Plex PC at home.

      I cannot confirm but when I clicked on my link, it sent me to the Plex login page. I cannot say for sure but perhaps if you entered in ANOTHER persons login details, that person could get your code applied to their account.

    If you're on the fence about this, I highly recommend getting the lifetime pass. I've been using PLEX for about 3 years now. If you set up your media box / NAS / server well, the uses of plex are incredible. Watching our stuff overseas while waiting at the airport or whatever was great.

    we've been using plex for years, occasionaly paying for plex pass when i needed simple syncing to the ipad / testing DVR. friends of ours got the lifetime plex offer so i used it.

    once they get the standard tv guide working, i'm hoping to switch to that instead of MCE for tv recording
