      I got 2 DOA units and it took 152 days of dealing with Samsung to get a working unit. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/440808

      In the end this is a good unit (samsung support is another story).

      Getting Atmos sound other than via Apple Movies or Microsoft store is not that easy. Apple and XBox One don't support Atmos (AFAIK) outside their stores. NVIDIA Shield does and using Plex I got it to work well. (A fan of the Shield).

      I paid $1,201 - the missing bracket might be an issue after you work out it won't fit on your stand with the TV. :)

      Great price for this RC. I have one from the same series (different shell) and they are amazing quality for the price….. They have an huge amount of power and can easily reach 35 to 40km/h on bitumen.

      This series comes with 2x 3.6v Li-ion cells. The OP needs to amend this in his description.

        I think the hardest parts of this install would be:
        - MZD firmware update
        - Removing trim without breaking anything
        - Not dropping the single bolt holding the AUX unit/screen

        I can't speak for everyone but doesn't seem too bad.

        I watched videos of other people doing the install before deciding I would DIY.

        Fair enough, it really depends on how much spare time you have and if you can be bothered.

        For me I think the cost of both the parts and labour are a bit ridiculous given it is just a couple of wires and a new USB hub however this is the best option available (vs. other hacks like AIO) for Mazda owners with old MZD-Connect.

        I agree this installation does not sound like an easy job for everybody. I have done car dash cams hardwiring installation myself and simple car interior light bulbs change, but this is more complicated and I would certainly pay the dealer to do it.

        And yes. The menus are slow and load time of tv takes a lot 20-30 seconds

        But overall. Picture quality is awesome. And network connectivity with my
