  • Foxtel Now Box $74

Is it just the box, or does it include the device?

    • +1

      Box = device

      • +2

        Is that the coupon code?

        • +5

          Don’t tell anyone

    • +2

      Box is fine.

      • I guess I can use it to store paper clips.

        • +9

The standard Foxtel box storage package ($39/month) does not include paperclips. You need to get the stationery package ($29/month).

  • If anyone wants the coupon code feel free to ask as I won’t be buying it.

    • -1

why don't you post it so it can be used

Otherwise, what is the point of this post????

      • Jimmy boi thinks we have psychic power.

      • +2

Point of this post is to tap that email button on your phone and go into inbox, check if you have received the coupon code and buy the device using coupon code if you were looking to buy.

        • -2

Point of this post is to tap that email button on your phone and go into inbox

          LOL

This is the OZBargain website, not OzEmailNotification

Just go to "Settings" and then "Notifications & actions"

        • +2

@jv: wouldn’t that cover half the deals posted here since many find deals from their email inboxes?

        • +2

People need to be told to check their emails?

        • +1

@wxyz234: if there is a targetted offer then yes. Not everyone sits around with email opened or goes through every email

        • @Jimmy007: people need to be told to check all their emails?

        • +1

@wxyz234: if there is a targetted offer then yes. Not everyone sits around with email opened or goes through every email

        • -1

          @Jimmy007: grow up

        • @wxyz234: you forgot to tag yourself!

        • +2

@jv: When was the last time you submitted a deal? You seem to be overly critical of those that do, yet offer nothing in return.

        • @Lorindor:

You seem to be overly critical of those that do

It's not a deal, it's a reminder to check your email.

        • -1

@jv: it’s a deal if you received the coupon just like the ebay deal that just made it to the front page, which is asking people to check their ebay accounts for $10 voucher

        • @Jimmy007:

it’s a deal if you received the coupon

If I'd received the coupon, then I'd already know about it… No need for additional notifications here to check my emails.

        • @jv:

You don't contribute to the website, all you do is complain.

        • @Lorindor:

          That's just your opinion.

At least I comment about the deal rather than attack other members….

        • +1

          @jv:

At least I comment complain about the every deal rather than attack other members….

          FTFY.

        • @Lorindor:

LOL. You just proved my point…

        • @jv:

No, actually I just proved my point, which was that all you do is complain on other member's deal, which adds no value to the site.

See where I'm getting at yet?

        • @Lorindor:

No, actually I just proved my point

Which has nothing to do with this 'supposed' deal…

You only posted to attack someone, not to discuss the deal.

        • @jv:

You only posted to attack someone, not to discuss the deal.

Oh, right, so what you're doing is adding to the discussion of the deal, and what I'm doing, isn't?

Nice little bubble you live in there mate.

        • @Lorindor:

          blah, blah, blah…

  • +2

Yeah I got a code too : NETFLIX if anyone wants it ?

    • +1

My free NetFlix just ran out so I'd appreciate a new code :)

  • I got one of these codes last week. I think they're tied to the account that received them.

  • That's a weird looking box

  • Just a tip for those playing at home. While play store is supported on this unit, you won't be able to download Kodi. I'm unsure if it can be sideloaded but that such a pain as well. Shame it ticks all the "boxes". 4K, 4K Chromecast built it, DVB-T tuner etc.

    • +1

SPMC (fork of Kodi) can be installed from the play store.

      • And that will be blocked in 3, 2, 1…

    • +1

Also can't install or cast Netflix but the mobile app version can be sideloaded and works.

      • oh really.. link?

  • Can this box be used to watch Foxtel Go if you have a Foxtel account? Want it to have Foxtel in another room without paying monthly fee for additional standard box.

    • No. A regular foxtel subscription and Foxtel Now / Play are not the same thing.

  • I would love a coupon code if any1 not using. Please PM me

    • I got a coupon today for it, send me a PM.

  • This isn’t expired, the code looks like it gets sent to you a day after you look at it as an incentive? I got a 10% off for the KitchenAid the other day, a day after I looked at it. And same happened for this.

  • If anyone has a code they aren't using Pm please Many Thanks

    • If you sign into your account and visit the page link or visit foxtel now page. You might get it in your email

  • Coupon is YZ68RE33

Only valid till 9:00am AEDT 24/2.

  • Anybody knows where to put the 'discount code'? I can't see where … It says to put it before the checkout.

    • Can only do it on website not app

      • Yes doing it on website, cannot see where the 'discount code' field is. Do you need to log in before applying the code? I logged in but still cannot see it.
