  • Comes with Forza 3 and the Hotwheels.

But not the other major DLC, Blizzard Mountain. I can’t find blizzard mountain on cdkeys anymore so may have to actually buy it from MS.

      • +1

I found Blizzard Mountain much harder, more technical, whereas Hotwheels is great fun.
I wouldn't worry about Blizzard Mtn, this is a great deal for those that can get it.

  • Which location?

  • Sorry this is in Sydney NSW Wetherill Park. The new store Corner or Horsley Drive and Rosetti Street.

  • I think you could probably make a profit if you broke all this up?

    The controller is $50?

    The game codes are $40?

I'm sure the console itself is more than $110.

    Broden get on it!

I bought a similar deal from HN a good while back, sold FH3+HW for 40 to some dude on Gummie. But since F7 came out, they have been doing some decent digital deals on FH3/HW, so I'm not sure if you'd still pull that.

      • Yep. FH3 + HW @ cdKeys.com are currently $31.29.

This also works on PC too (FH3) which runs on 60FPS @ 4K (opposed to XB1X stuck on 30FPS)

You'll be having fun downloading 60GB though!

        Cheers

        • Sux not to have NBN for these kinds of large game size downloads. Which are only getting bigger in size. For example Gears of War 4 with all the updates currently clocks in at 125gb. Imagine downloading that on ADSL or slow NBN.

        • @g12345567:

          Agree.

          I luckily do have NBN.

I normally buy disks however I wanted the PC component as I have a dedicated 4K PC with LG OLED 55".

I also have an Xbox one with 120" projector and purchased the FH3 Ultimate edition off Gumtree for $50 new when it came out as the seller accidentally received 2 copies.

I wanted to go 4K @ 120" but not going to spend $10K+ on a native 4K projector.

It is really hard to find the PC version on Gumtree hence downloaded it from Microsoft.

I can succinctly say that the 4K version is breathtaking on PC.
However I have lost saved Cloud data with the changeover which is really frustrating and I had to start all over again.

FH3 is buggy on PC as it doesn't start-up at times. The walkaround is to download a small freebie game from the Microsoft store which for some reason gets it going again wtf? Not really good enough from Microsoft tbh.

          Cheers

        • @g12345567: Without fibre all the way, you don't get much speed benefit. A few nights downloading and you should be OK. A lot of games get to 80GB+ and I don't have any issues on ADSL.

Wow never seen an ALDI with so much stock of Xbox, the ones I've been to all had 1 or max 2…

    • The USA is heading for their summer break in 3 months when kids have lots of spare time so time for new Xboxes ….. so we might see more promos for Xbox one X and the Box one S stock being cleared ….. considering we've seen some deals at $525 for Xbox one X and game bundle the Xbox one S must be coming to an end at some stage, especially as developers bring out X versions of games.

      • Not sure if they will replace X with S they are two different markets… If anything there will be a 2TB X?

Very cheap for an ok 4k blu ray player and a decent gaming console.

  • +1

Nice price. What are the chances this is available to other states?

  • +3

Lol Aldi, sold out within minutes due to Aldi fiends.

    • +1

Yep, I'm sure these are sold out already.

  • I was going to buy the last one at my local but it disappeared before I got the chance to go there again.

The guy at the register said just call 13 ALDI and they'll check stock nationwide.

A Game and Watch smashes this any day!

    • Do you have a PS3 BrodenIt?

      • Yes I do :)
        but it's pretty useless

        • +1

Ah, I was thinking we could have a game sometime lol :)

  • Wow this is the first time I've seen an xbox s in a bargain bin.

  • Store specific clearance? My local store still $289

    • +2

Pretty much. Went hunting for these a couple of weeks ago when people started posting them for $199. Three local stores still had them at $289. They all said it was up to the managers discretion to offer them at this price. Three weeks later and they are still there and still $289.

      • Because they told you the truth and its up to the managers diacretiom

        • +3

          'manager's di.. manager's di..'

          mashes face on keyboard

  • Saw a few in ALDI Mornington

    • What price was on them, $199?

      • +1

        Yes

        • Cheers

        • @THICKnSLOW: They were in the display cabinet after you leave the register

I still think the money is more well spend on the previous amazon minecraft 1tb console with minecraft as its a limited edition for $220.

Sadly the deal is over and people are selling them on gumtree and ebay over $300.

    • +2

How can the money be better spent if the deal is already over?

    • I agree, once you've seen the Amazon Minecraft deal it's hard to settle for anything less. Plus that deal not only had the 1TB version but also a vertical stand.

The nerve of some people -_-

      • Yup always those people that want to make a quick buck.

For me, it's not worth the time to make an extra $100 or so as a once off transaction. If it was weekly or fortnightly… sure

        • He won’t get that. Probably something closer to $300

        • @festivalmayhem: it's still a dog move in my opinion, I know it's free market and all but they are basically ripping people who don't know better (well like Harvey Norman I guess)

      • I always give single item sellers the benefit of the doubt - I know I get stuff on sale from Ozbargain and use them as gifts!

It's people like these that are ruining it for everyone else (scroll and you'll see!). Item was being sold for $4 at EB

        https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Video-Games/139973/m.html?item=1…

        • What's with the numbering with the listings? And when i click on them, it said the listings have been removed. Wanted to see if they were all listed by the same user…..

        • @mr joe:

The few I clicked were all still listed on this end.. that link was a list of items on sale from one user.

There is/was eBay offers where you can list and only pay $1 or even $0 in eBay fees, instead of the usual 11%ish. The catch is that it only applies to single item listings - which means they have multiple identical listings of a single item instead of a single listing with multiple items like stores usually do.

      • Everyone should just spam him offers of $219.

        • Wellcome, we should spam him by offering 200 or 180 to make him pissed.

  • I called to check stock and in the Sydney area, as of close yesterday the only other store showing stock is
Aldi - The Kraal Dr, Blair Athol (Campbelltown) NSW 2560.

  • -1

Awesome, can't wait to play PUBG on this new xbox!

  • Called Aldi, apparently no stores in VIC have stock.

  • Probably all sold out by now. Yet on the off chance been recently know if there is still stock left of that Wetherill Park store?

  • Katoomba ALDI has still got at least one in stock- picked one up this morning. Not really a far day trip for any Sydneysiders!
