    On their $40 plan
    Includes 2gb data.
    Unlimited calls and text

    You really need to spend $87/ month before it’s a usable plan (16gb data)

      This information should be listed in the post! By the poster!

        The $40 plan info is now on the desc. area. Thorpef1 was too quick before I could edit it.
        what is a useful/useable plan is up to the person buying it… I simply notify Ozbargainers to the deal and not making any assumption about individual requirements

        • Yeah, I hate it when I'm 2.5 hours late to edit something too…

        • If you are happy on a 2gb plan, you might aswell go get a 'new' nokia 3310.
          Complete waste of such a great phone if you are only making calls and sending texts

        • @D3m3ntia: I saw Thorpe comments and was the first to upvoted it… apparently, not good enough, so I updated the post …

          @thorpef1:

          For you maybe, I'm on wifi more often than not…. I rarely use more than 1GB a month.

          @thisispants:
          Ill second this
          2gb is enough for me as im usually on WiFi about 80% of the time i need to use data

      Better to buy outright and get plan with decent data.

    Looks so much like S8 that they had to write 9 on it.

  • s9 not the s9 plus

    • $74 X 24mths for the S9+ - on the description.

    more bang for buck

    • 36 months plan .!

      • Did you read the post?
        There are 24 month plans in there too.

        • If you take the 24 month plan and get the $300 cashback, you get a better deal than the S8 deal a year ago.

          sorry axeology, only saw the heading-didn't read the rest. I finally read through all the comments on the your post… it is a better deal :-)

  • cant imagine someone stupid enough to sign on that

    What's the point of a great phone if you only got 2GB? LOL

  • +1

    I would be struggling with 2gb, especially after 24M in! Atm I use 80gb a month lol

  • It seems the Optus S8 $59 20gb plan was better.

  • 2GB data…unacceptable. I guess when S9 come to the market, the only reasonable choice I have is keeping my current sim plan and buying the phone with full price only.

    • I am sure there’ll be plans … these are obviously for people not needing load on data, and early adopters.

    • Generally, buying a mobile outright and getting a plan that suits your needs works out cheaper in the long run.

  • I honestly can't believe that 2gb plans even exist. And for $40 too!

  • The best deal is Woolworths with $300 cashback.

  • Has Samsung phone improved now? Had bad experience with Samsung Galaxy S5 (I think it was S5) and Note 3.
    Short battery life, sluggish phone.
