    • That's only enough for your Trireme's paddle

I called customer service and shops near Southland with stock as of 11:30am are:
    12 at St Kilda
    7 at Moorabin
    7 at Bentleigh
    0 at Southland

Probably will be none after lunch though.
They are either on an aisle end with all the Jamie Oliver stuff or in the aisle with all the ceramics and bowls

    • +2

just checked Moorabbin store, they still have 3 of those on the shelf, the aisle #7…

Nothing tricks your friends/parents into thinking that you have your shit together like a cheese board does.

  • +4

Can also use it as a cricket bat.

Don't think your future will require any cricket equipment, Steve Smith

    • Hahaha I was going to post this too

  • Watch out for listeria

  • Sweet. Gonna go check out some local woolies now. Hopefully cheese knives are also on sale.

    • +1

I hope cheese is also on sale.

      • That would be the trifecta!

  • +1

Why you need to serve cheese on board

    • +1

      How else you serve cheese?

      • Why not put it on plate?

        • +6

Because you have a cheese board?

        • @ihavecentsnotsense:
But if you have plates why buy chesseboard?

        • +5

@djmm: Because it’s on sale at Woolies for $3!

        • +1

          @ihavecentsnotsense:
          Dang that's cheap

        • @djmm: How do you play chess on a plate?!

        • +1

@jaypee06: chessboard can be used as cheese plate as well

        • Because you dull your knives cutting into ceramic.

        • @ihavecentsnotsense:

I'm guessing it might be because it would move around less on the board due to the rougher surface, whereas on a plate it might not stay in place. You can also tilt a board on a slight angle and the food still stays put, whereas on a plate it will slide down the plate unless flat.

    • Gets you more likes XD

  • Is it possible to serve other food on it apart from cheese ? or use it as a cutting board ?

    • +4

Hang on, I'm trying to find the instruction manual for you.

    • +8

This board is specifically labelled cheese only, unfortunately.

      • +2

They're clearing them out because they're faulty. Only work with camembert and brie.

    • +2

Yes of course, other uses discussed today included: oars, spanking paddle
Could add: defensive frisbee, firewood for 10 minutes warmth, vat stirrer, snowshoes(buy two),
…and yes you can serve other food on it or use it as a cutting board

    • If it does not work as a cutting board and you are not satisfied with your purchase you are covered by the 100% satisfaction guarantee.
