    Who need NBN NOW!!!!

    • Who need NBN NOW!!!!

Nobody needs it, but when it comes… bye-bye cable

      • I did. Went from 4/1 to 94/37…

        • cable is faster

        • @jv:

          No, its not.
115 down / 5 up gives you total bandwidth of 120 Mbps.
94 down / 37 up gives you total bandwidth of 131 Mbps.
          So HFC is faster.

Anyway, the relative speeds are more meaningful (perceivable):
Cable downloads are 22% faster than HFC.
HFC uploads are 740% faster than cable.
          Its all about that upload…

          @Viper8:

94 down / 37 up gives you total bandwidth of 131 Mbps.

I use my 4G mobile for uploads and usually get around 20Mbps up

          so 115 + 20 = 135.

        • @jv:

          You serious.

          OK then well I use my 4GX for uploads and usually get 60Mbps so 94 + 60 = 154 Mbps…

          Ridiculous.

        • @Viper8:

          OK then well I use my 4GX for uploads and usually get 60Mbps so 94 + 60 = 154 Mbps…

          That's pretty awesome…

I might need to upgrade my mobile.
