    RENEWD - Certified Refurbished GOOD

Product is in good condition, this classification is reserved for Notebooks that will show evidence of much heavier use that will include scuffing, heavier scratches, dents and chips on external surfaces, wear and tear will be visible on palm rest, keyboard and touchpad, screen may have minor scratches, white blemishes may be evident on the screen, hinges may have small cracks.

    not for me!!

    • +2

Haha that's a pretty generous definition of "good". Dents/chips/cracks would easily put it in the "well used" category! Anything worse than this would be nearly "broken".

To be useful, some idea of battery world be helpful. That can really make or break usability.

      • +1

You did read the part "does not include"?

        • My comment was in reference to the definition of "good". You are right it was a bit misleading as it may have been taken with respect to this product specifically!

  • What's the maximum warranty

    • -1

      90 day Warranty Free

      • +7

        No thanks

    • Maximum warranty is dictated by Australian law, not by what ever arbitrary number they decide on.

      • on the first iteration of their description it stated minimum 90 days

        • +1

From the ACCC, "Statutory rights are not limited to a set time
period. Instead, they apply for the amount of time
that is reasonable to expect, given the cost and
          quality of the item.
This means a consumer may be entitled to a
remedy under their statutory rights after any
manufacturer’s voluntary or extended warranty has
          expired.
For example, it is reasonable to expect that an
expensive television should not develop a serious
fault after 13 months of normal use. In this case,
the consumer could argue the item was not of
merchantable quality and ask for it to be repaired,
even if the manufacturer’s voluntary warranty had
          expired."

        • @ONEMariachi: yes I know but on the first iteration of their description it stated minimum 90 days. I was curious what their max was

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: Well the point of my post is that there is no max, and that any number they say doesn't matter unless it is a large number. It is considered whatever is reasonable for said product. Personally, for a laptop I'd say 3-4 years is reasaonable.

        • @ONEMariachi:
This is refurb at significant discount. If 3-4 yrs is reasonable for a new laptop, it would be hard to push for more than 2 yrs on this.

        • +1

          @sharky_k: That's still better than 90 days

        • @ONEMariachi:
          True :)

  • Damn… if only… good price!

  • +3

coupon april15 brings it down to 313

    • How ?

    • +2

      Great price if that's true

    • +3

This is fixed. The discount is $86.85 and brings it down to $492.15.

shame about 4gb ram soldered into mobo

    • +1

Thought the same, ram is too little for windows.

      • Nearly missed that, thanks fellas.

  • Shows sold out already

  • No stock - Sold Out!

  • Decent specs for the price. Still running a base model Surface Pro 3 for light browsing and administration - works like a dream still.

  • New product added

    • Would have been smarter to create new post for a complete change of product. That way we would get notification.

      I think the i5/8GB/256GB configuration at $636.65 is a better buy. 😊

  • +2

    4GB RAM….what are they thinking.

    • +1

      Profit.

    • Also includes keyboard and stylus making it significantly cheaper than the surface

    • Thanks mate this is a good find.

  • +3

There is an i5 with 8gb and 256gb on that site, with the April15 code comes to D $636.65

    • This one seems to be a better deal, IMO. 😊

    • Thanks, bought this instead. In excellent condition rather than good.

      • $764 now!

  • +4

Just in case people overlook it….. does not come with pen or keyboard.

  • +2

weird…. ABN info on site doesn't match the business name or who the domain name was registered to….

  • there are some ridiculously good deals on this website. just picked up an HP Envy 13 with a qHD screen for $339 including shipping!

    • Just for interest went and look at this, cheapest was $449 and with code $381.65 so how did you get to $339 ?

      • There was one for $399 which came down to $339 with the APRIL15 coupon. Once I bought it it disappeared from the site which suggests there was only one…

  • +2

Too good to be true? Anyone see any reviews for this website?

Why do you have a disclaimer saying a rep will call and ask for ID?!

    • +3
    • +1

Nope - this place is legit, I bought and recieved delivery of a gaming laptop last week from renewd using the coupon. Came 2 days after ordering. Did not have to verify the order via someone calling me but so far so good. The condition report rings true, I bought a "good condition" item which had dint in the case, which doesn't bother me as I bought a vinyl sticker to go over it. Learned about this site after a friend of mine took delivery of an excellent condition mbp. Cant recommend them any higher.

  • Prices were jacked up

  • I cant remove products from cart, nor add more than 1 product of the same at a time. your checkout is total fail.

For those not in the know the Surface pro 4 has a known issue (screen flicker ) that has shown itself to occur just outside the 12-month warranty period.

Even when replaced via the refirb program some users reported the same fault showing up in the replacement unit.

    Buyer beware!

    https://www.theverge.com/2018/2/1/16958954/microsoft-surface…

    Quotred from link supplied…..

Hundreds of Surface Pro 4 owners have been complaining about screen flickering issues on their tablets. A thread over at Microsoft’s support forums shows that the problems have been occurring for more than a year, and most devices affected are out of warranty. Dubbed “Flickergate,” a website to report the issues claims at least 1,600 Surface Pro 4 owners have experienced the screen flickering problems.
