      You can literally get these servers in America or Europe for like $15 a year or cheaper than what this company is leasing theirs for. For the same or better specifications. If they were Australian servers then that's different but we got OVH so OVH has them beat still.

    It's a bit of false advertisement really. I had an OpenVZ VPS with them since 2014 and still waiting for tragic to happen.

  Sounds a bit dear, 2 cores is a plus but as that's easily oversubscribed it's still a bit meh. Even with Major Providers public cloud sucks. Also being in the US latency will be awful if you need to connect from Oz and you can throw your privacy out the window as well.

  You can get cheaper VPS locally.

  edit: For example I got a special from Dediserve not that long ago. 1GB RAM, 25GB storage, 1TB (I think) of data, Sydney data centre for $4.13 US a month. A much better deal than this.
