      That's what i've been trying to do, didn't know why they're store was offline, pretty dodgy! Otherwise i'll be waiting for the 2 for $79 that's happened a few times, it's kinda set a precedence now.

  Can anyone tell me does size matter?! They all do the same thing regardless of size don't they? If I talk to it they all do the same thing or respond the same don't they? I'm just checking before I decide it's safe to pay the least amount possible for the smaller ones…

      Thanks for the link BA, it looks like they keep shaving a couple of dollars off each day. I hope I did my purchase at the best time! Mother's Day seems like a good enough time as any for specials, why wait til Black Friday huh?!

      Truthfully I seem to be spending more since I joined OzBargain, but I blame it on my being stuck in hospital bored out of my mind, with nothing to do except sit up in bed and use my laptop to browse OzBargain.

    Have a read here. The main difference between the Home and Home mini is just the sound quality of having the bigger speaker, functionality is basically the same.

      Given that I have significant hearing loss I should probably get a big one for the living area, I might play a few YouTube videos to listen to the sound difference.

    i'd say no in this case. They both do the same job, Mini has 1 speaker vs home having a dual 2-inch.

    For the current price difference being $53 and $144, buying 3 google home mini's (for different rooms) will set you back $159, or $154 including cashrewards…that'd be my option…if you want it for the speaker, I'd be casting it to a genuine speaker for higher sound quality.

    just my thoughts anyway

      Ohhh Andrgram that's interesting I completely didn't think of the fact that it can be casted to speakers! Of course! Thanks! Silly me! Awesome out of the box thinking on your behalf. I'll just stick with the one chalk mini I ordered.
