This has been extended for Ozbargainers-Due to Christmas, new years and holidays in between not to mention The floods delivery has been slow but still we have made deadline of 12 working daysin most cases. Alot of people that purchased the $7 sample asked us to repost deal so they can take advantage of deal so here it is.

        I didn't actually find the varieties to be that hot until I hit the sidewinder, and that one sent me to the sink clawing at my tongue.

          Seriously? Sidewinder is mild compared to flamin arrow.

          I can't imagine too many people would be able to eat too much of flamin arrow in one sitting and get away with it :)

      I ordered on December 24th and it's scheduled for delivery today (delivery, not despatch) so you would assume you should have received yours by now. Maybe give them a call - I haven't had any luck with their email [email protected] in the past. You'll usually get a response if you put a post on their Facebook page too.       We dont weigh because it takes to long but try to give you a taste of each.

      I weighed up one pack i sent out and it was 43 grams worth of product and then another one was 38.

      You will get a good taste of our product regardless and it will help you make up your mind ;-)

    I did actually enjoy the sample pack, but I cant remember what flavor it was that I liked.

    Also, the hot wasn't OVERLY hot.

    How long would a 1 kilo pack last.

      If you break it up in 200 gram bags or airtight containers and store in cupboard it will last at least six months DO NOT store in fridge.

      If anyone gets us in your local Servo, bottle shop, corner store, butcher or ANYWHERE by getting that shop to call us or email us ( you must let us know you have contacted them beforehand ) then we will send you out a shirt and a 200 gram pack of your choice…..

    Ordered the sample pack, then whichever tastes good will get a 1kg of that.

    Chief, this Ozbargain discount should really be the staple on your website from now on. $110 for a kg of jerky is way too much, esp when you take into account shipping.

    Perhaps you can send these packs out as gifts or something to avoid shipping costs. I know that is what dealextreme does from their hong kong base.

    Just received my sample packs. Here is my take on the flavours:

    Original / spicy shaman / stampede – all 3 of these taste very similar. They taste rather salty (not in a bad way) possibly because of the soy bean ingredients. Little aftertaste. 5/10 for each.

    Buckshot – A distinct peppery flavour, with a nice aftertaste. 7/10

    Sidewinder – I only got one piece of this and took this after a blazing saddle piece (so my tongue was numb), but if I recall it was nice n’ spicy and left a distinct aftertaste from the chocolate habenaro. 8/10

    Blazing Saddle – very nice and spicy. Perhaps my favorite. As a fan of spicy foods you get what you expect with this pick. 9/10

    Flaming arrow – not much flavor when you put it in your mouth, but as your chew through it the intensity increases. After I finished a piece my mouth was numb for about 15 minutes lol. 7/10

      Hello Ledd,

      Thank you for your opinion, not to knock it but jerky is dry and salty.

      It is dried meat that is cured with salt or soy.

      You might like to try Biltong which is a moist snack and from what I have tried not as salty as they use a different method-they actually hang the meat up for days if not weeks to cure.

        I know what jerky tastes like. I have eaten quite a lot in the past and even made my own. And I can tell you this was far more dry/tough than any jerky I have ever had before. Some may like jerky like this, I sure don't.

          Wasnt trying to sound mean-

          We make a traditional American style beef jerky that has been passed down from generation to generation and I have been making it over 25 years.

          I thought you were like some people that only tasted commercial jerky with msg, preservatives and artifical colours in them - In doing so the processed jerky doesnt have a salty taste and is somewhat moist.

          All good-Deal is still on as we had so many issues with flooding-Not only did we have issues getting meat from our normal suppliers due to flood I also had three friends house's go under. Very sad……….

          If you reorder just type in RELIEF I will continue this special and we will continue to donate a dollar for ever sale.

    I ordered a sample pack on the 10th Jan (order no. 304) hoping to try your jerky, pick a favourite and then order the big bags using the discount code.

    It still hasn't arrived, and I'm in QLD. I've purchased and received goods from UK, Melbourne and NZ since then :(

    Not to attack (I really admire your community spirit getting behind those of us affected by floods), but to be honest, this experience and seeing so many others wait well over two weeks with no updates is dimming my view somewhat. I was the commenter above who said it was your enthusiasm for your company that pursuaded me to finally try.

      Hello Matt,

      I do appreciate your comments and will say that all sample packs that have been ordered before and on the 20th have left on the 20th-

      A few people that have asked where their orders are have found that it was a failed delivery and it is waiting at the Post Office for them.

      Unfortunately we do not eparcel our samples and can not track them unlike our standard orders. I seriously am not saying that there is a hungry postman but we have sent all and have resent a few more.

      As far as orders above of people asking where there orders are , so far most of them have made the up to 12 working day promise we have made but due to floods and fallout from floods (meat suppliers) some might go over by a day or so.

      I will organize another one to go out to you but I would encourage you to go to your local post office and check to see if it has been left there.
